Hey new to the forum but not new to modeling

Welcome to the forum -
I don't actively watch many creator's videos, I use them more for information or techniques. I will say many of the channels are long winded, and full of filler. I did catch the Austic Modeler's video where he talked about being bullied, unfortunate, but the internet can be a big ,scary, place if you don'thave thick skin. I actually found his video about problems with sealed vintage kits very well done, informative and to the point.

Another marketplace score. Tamiya paints, full bottle of extra thin, paint and glue racks and some brushes, as well as the kit. Kit is opened but untouched, as are the paints and glues. All for twenty-five. ππ

1955 Ford Panel Truck
johnyrotten replied to Zippi's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
That would be a nice contrast for the wheels. ππ -
I have the same dilemma with the Chevelle. I might try to make them removable.

Stunning '55. Perfect clean, classic look. Very nicely done ππ

I see you went with the Gm rallies. Nice choice of wheels. What color do you plan for the wheels?

I'll loan em to ya,Bill. Be warned, their combined IQ is a negative integer, and her niece has blue hair.

My wife's mother and niece left today, thankfully. Sanity is slowly returning.

I'm pleased with how it sprayed. I think this is a pretty solid product so far, especially since I'm relatively new to airbrushing.

Very nice work with the front suspension and that steering rack. ππ -
Had to re-spray a front end so I tried the fusionfirm. Here it is compared to molotow. I'm happy with it.

I like the ideas for the interior, my old mkv gli had the plaid interior and European spec under seat storage and dash cubby, loved that car. Even the wife's jetta has a type r steering wheel. It's the little things.ππ

Just based off the pictures, you "stole" that mustang. Killer deal. You're way far ahead of the game at 300 bucks and titled. Nothing exists at that price and condition around me. The closest I've found was a 64 dodge for $650. With no glass intact for the last 30 years. If you know mopars, you know that car was shot.

3D TOON VW Van
johnyrotten replied to PatW's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
That's a cool vw Pat. ππ -
I used coffee stirrers for this bed floor. The fact that some of them are warped and irregular worked out perfectly since this truck is well worn. Light acrylic washes for the staining.

Nissan pulsar. Not quite sure of the year. Most of these are long gone here in the northeast due to rust and age. -

Great build idea! A true "gentleman's hot rod". Really like that color combo ππ
