  1. Very nicely done.
  2. That looks great. Nicely done.
  3. Great looking build. The black and gold looks beautiful. πŸ‘πŸ‘
  4. The ant-pacolypse currently occurring in my house. I think all the recent rain has driven them indoors.
  5. Scratched up an ls swap for my next build. Engine and transmission mounts, and a road race oil pan. I managed to scrape together the ls with a tko 5 speed from the parts bin.
  6. These two have been buzzing around all day. Sorry for the bad second picture, that one doesn't like any movement.
  7. Cool build Michelle.
  8. Great looking super bee. Nice to see it in a different high impact color.
  9. Upstate New York, I'm all too familiar with rust as well. Recreating mother nature has its own challenges, for sure. Perfect paint is something that often run into issues with, I set my personal expectations way too high, and nit pick everything.
  10. I did it on a whim and it worked out. I use a lot of washes and dry brushing in my builds, the scoops and headlights are molotow with a very thin wash, I actually handled the headlights to ruin the luster of the molotow.
  11. They wire mowers oddly for some reason, and the safety switches, anti-back fire junk just complicates things. Do you recall what wire was originally grounded out?
  12. It's blowing the fuse when you shut it off. Most ,not all, ground out the coil. It's referred as the "kill" wire. Mine has a capacitive ignition (cdi) which does the opposite and removes 12v when the key is off. What engine is on the rider? Check for a short in the headlight circuit, as that and the anti backfire solenoid are shared on most ignition switches. Then check the ignition switch for an internal short.
  13. Absolutely ludicrously insane ride ,Zippi. I love it. It's like a full bodied fuel altered. πŸ‘πŸ‘
  14. Thank you ,Greg. All the tips and tutorials guys like yourself have posted here have really helped me step up my skills. Much appreciated πŸ‘πŸ‘
  15. No problem, the it's pretty durable, I used a morter and pestle to grind it bit finer. Use a brush you don't care about. Takes a couple coats. You can also apply the the createx straight and sprinkle it on to build it up.
  16. Really nice Buick. The pearl white was a great choice and those wheels look absolutely perfect on there. πŸ‘πŸ‘
  17. I think it's the managers decision, and ultimately it's the agreement of walmart corporate with kit manufacturers that determines what kits they stock.
  18. Nice looking build, Caleb. I like the aggressive tire you got on there.
  19. Yeah, between the dirt track guys and the rust, they aren't really around. Even a clean 3rd gen is hard to find, though they're really not my thing.
  20. Thank you, I used actual rust I scraped off some steel mixed with createx intercoat.
  21. I'm pretty fortunate after reading some of these post. The neighbors below my property I've only had one small occasion, saw him walking through the woods past my yard on my property, just let him know I keep my dogs off the leash and that was enough for the light bulb to go off. no more strolls in the woods. The guy across the street, total moron but no issues my way, though he did set his property on fire last year during a burn ban.
  22. Clean looking camaro, not many left in that shape in New York. Dirt track guys cut them up for racecars.
  23. Great save with the paintπŸ‘. Awesome color.
  24. I get field mice in the garage, peanut butter works great.
