That looks really good. They resemble the shape of the fronts remarkably well. What has you "on the fence" on the look, If I may ask?

Cool build. I've always liked the wing cars. Great work on this๐.

Look around on YouTube, there's a bunch of guys that "hotrod" lawn tractors and a few great, while silly, repair channels. Some of those Hydro drives can be refilled and re-sealed. Tyrrell fixes all is one channel. Silly, but the guy knows these things inside out.

I hear ya with that, they missed live knob and tube wiring on my place. Expensive, time consuming project that was.

On the plus side, you've got room to work, and the doubled up 2x6 is plenty strong. Looks like those beams are about 8 feet apart, correct.

Siphon feed airbrush

Get yourself something to practice on, even cardboard if that's all you got available, and "learn" that particular airbrushes "behavior". See how different pressures and what not affect your spray pattern. Like everything, it's a learning curve. -
Ouch. Definitely not the proper way to carry the load to a footing, if that's what you want to call those. At the minimum it should be underneath, not cantilevered off of an un-gusseted chunk of angle. That would (redacted) me off.

Awesome looking wagon, great weathering, the original fender is a nice touch. Hopefully it raises some funds for the club.๐๐

Welcome to the forum Charlie.

Awesome looking chevelle. The engine compartment and interior are fantastic. I remember building this one as a kid, that front end gave me such a headache.

Great looking plymouth. Nice choice with the color combo.

You should see the mess that can develop with vintage motorcycles. My long term project has no numbers on the frame, never did and the engine numbers are what's registered, and to make matters worse the side the numbers are on is the side that wears out or gets damaged when they blow up. Lots of theft, title jumping and re-numbering with certain makes/models.

That's the one! I also recall another reflex silver one done similar. No, not many average people have the money or resources to cut up a new vehicle, especially at today's prices. -
Very classy '35. Beautifully done.

That's a pretty cool car, and idea. They probably started with a four door sedan, and used the door, quarter panel and associated structure from a two door sedan on the driver's side. Not an easy project. I read an article in eruotuner magazine years ago where someone built a two door vw jetta using golf/gti parts. They actually went as far as having proper safety glass created for the new rear windows. This kind of thing is why I go to car shows. ๐๐ -

My mother's father was Army, pfc2. I believe he was drafted. I never really had an opportunity to speak with him in any real sense, results of a stroke just before my family moved to NY from R.I., but everyone always spoke highly of him, that alone speaks volumes to me. My Stepfather was Navy, and my sister is a Marine. She served around ten years, her service was extended due to 9/11.

Finally got to put some serious miles on the motorcycle today, rode over and cleaned up my grandparents Graves. Gramps served in WW2. The last of the parts for my ride on showed up and my wife found me a score of 3 kits on marketplace. One of which is the first kit I ever built. Today was a pretty good day.
