  1. Those are great little blazers, 4.3 just run and run. Is that neon the 420a or 4g63 engine?
  2. Scary, funny video. We share the road with these people. The brake repair one's always get me. "Just rolled in" channel on YouTube is another one.
  3. Yup, or keep it to the floor till second gear.
  4. Workplace goings-on cracked me up today.
  5. Thank you, I will definitely not forget those.
  6. Good catch, I wasn't aware of that.
  7. Maybe the 68 dart seats could work, or another "a" body mopar. Dart, duster, valiant ect.
  8. The latest model corvette is mid- engine.
  9. This kit has a 426 wedge, and slant six
  10. Cool stuff, must have been kicked off around the "gas crunch" time being the 70's. A bit before my time. Funny how people forget things and think its a new idea. Some of the first "cars" were electric. I'm surprised propane isn't used more, but like everything it has it's pros and cons. The hydrogen thing is interesting. To me, alternative fuel means alcohol, or if you wanna get serious, nitromethane. Somebody once said gas is for cleaning parts, alcohol for drinking, and nitro for racing.
  11. Happy new year everyone.
  12. Not really an "irk", just an observation, those that complain of their situation yet refuse to change the behavior that put them in that spot in the first place. And doing so while interrupting my conversation and morning coffee.
  13. Welcome tothe forum
  14. And yet there are fools that would call that a deal.
  15. Finished the foil with the exception of the wheel openings. Tried foiling the emblem on the back, worked 'till it didn't. I'll hit that with molotow I think. Couldn't resist throwing it together to get a look at it, so far not too bad, I like the look.
  16. I was curious and looked that up. It's a slow drying reducer, according to the one site I looked at. I'm not a painter or chemist, perhaps there's a difference between a reducer and an actual "thinner"? Could explain the cloudiness. I'd like to know myself, I've got 3/4 gallon of reducer in the garage.
  17. Patience is an understatement, for sure. I think working with metal all day helps with this part, I kinda know how it "behaves", but this is so thin you have to be a step ahead of it. Thanks
  18. I guess every old truck is a ford. They must be trying to account for recycled materials. Or the aftermarket. Built Ford tuff with chevy stuff.
  19. I used a comet scrub on the body, followed with soap and water. For primer, it's cheap touch and tone hardware store light gray primer. All airbrushed.craft paints have some good colors available, but to get a thinner that will actually help the paint stick was my biggest problem. For the clear, it's createx 4050 thinned with 4011, three coats and 2 solid days to cure followed by novus polish. If you need more information feel free to p.m. me.
  20. Thanks. It's just craft paint.
  21. Well, that's one way to do it.
