Ladies nail polish comes in a wide variety of flake sizes and colors. Do a google search for Glitter nail polish/ metallic nail polish ect or if your brave enough venture in to the ladies aisles of any dept store. An airbrush with a large flow rate like the Paasche H handles them once suitably thinned. Just keep the paint agitated while spraying so the flakes remain in suspension and don't settle.

The courier arrived today with three more for the stash. It was pleasing to see this issue of the Belvedere has deeper panel lines and the body is nice and square unlike my earlier release Moebius Belvedere that had faint panel lines and a roof that was twisted.

I find my H is the best all round airbrush of all the different types I have here. So easy to use and clean and is always my go to airbrush for priming. Follow Jasons' advice of agitating the bottle to prevent settling and you will master it in no time.

I got a copy of the Australian company Southern Cross Miniatures W125 Mercedes. This is their first 1/20 multi media kit and will be a stark contrast sitting next to to the more modern F1 cars everyone else manufactures.

Thats a surprise to see all their 1/24 kits no longer listed as I'd been at their site in what seemed was just the other day. Hiro ceased production of all their line of 1/20 Ferrari F1 kits some time back for what was said to be licensing issues but who knows. I think one of the last 1/24 Ferrari kits Hiro made was the Ferrari Lusso which I purchased when it was released a year ago. With Hiro releasing a new 1/12 scale kit every month they may be just streamlining production by dropping 1/24. The logistics of manufacturing and keeping track of all the parts in just one of their 1/12 full detail kits must be challenging.
