  1. @dave branson Thanks for the photos. There are several there that must have snuck in while I was checking out the vendors. I really wish we had a dedicated scale auto modeling club here in OKC. @meechum68 Royal? I haven't been up there to his shop in prob 10+ years(?). I hope he's doing well.. Best hobby shop in the state.
  2. Very very cool friend. Nice job. Taking notes for my 66 Fairlane project.
  3. Definitely go with the short stacks.
  4. If only I knew someone with a metal brake... 😩
  5. I'm basically doing same, but with the exception of using a thick foamboard. I tried to use the much thinner foamboard that was provided in my 'kit' but it is very susceptible to warping depending on the environment. Also in the process of obtaining various shop tool/ equipment. I'll be following, so I'm looking forward to your next post. Thanks for sharing.
  6. Looking forward to seeing more! Very nice!
  7. @Potaka I had no prior knowledge of it, until a fellow modeler presented his recent purchase, and provided the link. I have also seen video's on YouTube of their unboxing and assembly. I have no experience with purchasing. I have more than enough kits to keep me busy for the foreseeable future. Maybe if you go to YouTube and do a search on T700 scale model, you might find something.
  8. @Potaka Me and a few other airplane geeks were checking these out a while back. Glad I could help.
  9. Get your credit card ready.. https://www.stirlingkit.com/products/teching-t700-diy-turboshaft-engine-model-build-your-own-military-engine-kit-for-adults-dm136 If you are in the United States, I'm highly confident that this price does not include: State/Local taxes Shipping fees All associated tariffs.
  10. Looking good so far! Wanting to build a Pro-Touring Fairlane myself soon.
  11. Very, very cool... Will be keeping an eye on this.
  12. All that amazing carbon fiber decal work, looks like a whole lot of 'I dont need to buy that kit'...😐
  13. Looks fantastic!
  14. Absolutely will be watching this... Been interested in getting both this and the Tamiya kit, but I too prefer the LM version. Looking forward to seeing more!
  15. These look absolutely fantastic. I am currently looking for a reliable source of good quality 1/24 diorama accessories. Not interested in getting 3D printed stuff that looks like resin coated kitty litter. Any suggestions? Thanks!
  16. Will trade for them, but my offerings are limited. If you have a full set you are willing to part with, I would be most grateful.
  17. I'm right there with you. Deleted my account as well. A complete cloaca of human depravation that I want no part of, even on my most boring day. "Cloaca" Look it up and you will agree. 😆
  18. This should be a top priority. I haven't bought straight up garbage yet, but I got close enough that I definitely pay closer attention. Im getting the impression that 3D printing businesses in this hobby are akin to your favorite fast food chain restaurant on every street corner. Some establishments have their...* ahem *...stuff together, others...well..I would not go within a city block without a tetanus shot and a carton of liquid charcoal to chug... just in case.
  19. Although these are not exactly the same as what you posted, I do believe that these are the wheels in the above photo by @Can-Con...
  20. Nice job so far! Looking good!
