  1. I will grab the brand on it, but I did get it at Hobby Lobby if that helps.
  2. I will have to dig in my paint to find the body color, but the roof is Gunmetal by Tamiya, and IRC the body is Testors Turquoise.
  3. Great work! Can't wait to see this finished.
  4. That is insane, in the time frame you built it in. And I feel the beholder thing so much! (I have a car hauler trailer in the works, and it is the epitomy of ... ugly, will post it soon in Big trucks WIP)
  5. Thanks guys! I "lost" the center for the grill, and will get it painted and mounted soon. As it's the reason there aren't any frontal shots yet. I will also post some undercarriage ones as well, not so impressive but decent.
  6. That's the stuff! Glad someone recognized it, as I won't be home til sometime tomorrow.
  7. Great collection! Some fantastic stuff! Can't go wrong with some timey wimey wibbley wobbley enjoyment!
  8. Those look slick! Strong contender for sure! Can't wait to see how end up!
  9. Welcome aboard! Good folks here. Can't wait to see what you share from complete to WiP!
  10. Bonneville style!!! (I have to get me some Bonneville caps for a couple builds I have been thinking on.)
  11. I can see the green now, that should of been a factory color tbh! Fantastic!!
  12. That looks like Tamiya Light Gunmetal .. it maybe the Tamiya Gunmetal. (I love those 2 colors.)
  13. This right here is why I buy 2-5 of certain kits. Plus later on I can barter for something else.
  14. Thanks, and I agree, the trim finish is next. (After I get my office reset up. Paintbooth and new table.)
  15. Such a wierd car in a cool way. Fantastic work man!
  16. The paint is flat black base and then top coat is a purple flake, not at home atm to get the actual color. When I get back I will find the exact color for you. The wheels were stolen from Foose Ford truck, that kit has some great parts. I wanted a full wheel well without it being .. not her taste so did the bigger wheel/tire option. I have to get her a display box, I am out doing some quilt store hunting with her, so maybe I can slip into a shop and get a display case.
  17. Thanks @mrmike I will do some digging!
  18. Thanks, I still have to add a few points of color on the Chevy Emblem, and the front turn signals.
  19. Great work! That would be an interesting kit to .. bash to a pro street/pro touring build. Hmmm....
  20. Clean, and very classic to the era of production. Well done sir!
  21. This was a build for the wife, once she gets a spot cleared in either her workshop or sewing room, it will go in there. I kit bashed 2 kits to pull this off. She picked all the paint colors, minus engine color, had to go with "ford" blue (I didn't have a blue that matched but it is blue so it's "ford" blue) I will build another of this as it's a fun kit, and had very little flash and the parts fit like they should.

This was another fun kit. I didn't take any engine bay pics but it's a throwback to the weekend I-6 daul carb racer, yet good enough to drive daily. I have been a sucker for the 2 tone paint of the 50's and this was my first go. I learned a lot with this. On all 3 of my posts, the start to finish build time was roughly 8 years. Life has a way....
  23. My 72 Cutlass I built using the Pace Car Convertible Kit. This was my first shot at using plug wires and such. Body and Convertible top is paint by Tamiya, and interiour as well, with me doing some brush work using acrylic's. I bashed 3 kits to pull this off. I had times I felt overwhelmed with it. I have a few mistakes but nothing glaring with it.
  24. So far so good! The Green/Black set up looks great! Are you gonna paint the wheels to match the body or go with a polished aluminum look or chrome?
