Thanks Carl! I did step out of my straight forward build and took that first step into a custom. I felt it went well, and will be doing a bit more custom stuff, I do plan soon to do my first chop later on. -
Nice clean work!!

I should be able to start on the priming of the body this weekend. Thanks! And look forward to participating!! -
I brush small stuff, and spray everything else. I like my fine primer's as they don't obscure details.

So when I got back to building, I had 2 kits going, one was for a build off, and the other was what I wanted, then I saw another kit, and started on it. But, then life got in the way... Selling a house, moving, remodeling house... then work got in the way, all my stuff still packed up, then wife decided to take the shop so I got my hobby room. Roll forward 2 years, after work and life interuptions, I got back to them. I finished them up and managed to do another 4 kits behind them since I have decided to do a self imposed .. 1-2 hrs of bench time a week and not let things fester for months at a time when I am not traveling for work. Otherwise, they would sit and sit and sit. I do still build 2-5 kits at a time, but it let's me keep things fresh and if I run into a road block on one I can do something different and figure out the road block while not working on that road block issue. -

Did some work on the wife's 57 Fairlane.... removed the weird bodyline on the fender tops, have some putty on it now curing. And got the rear end for it mounted on the frame. Will be getting the front suspension painted and assembled soon as well. Did some work the 47 Chevy as well. The 572 is hanging out between the rails here, I am waiting on the primer I want to use for the block and other resin parts then I can paint them and finish assembling and then do the modifying of the rest of the Chevy engine bay. As of now I shouldn't have to set the engine back.. for now.

Well I may of bit off more than I can chew.. nah... got a little bench time and waiting on primer for the block and other parts so I can paint em before assembly and then will work on fitting everything into the engine bay of this big ole beasty. Here's a single pic for now. 572 block, heads, and transmission just hanging out in between the frame rails.
