  1. Very nice model and looks great wearing white. ? Joe
  2. You win!? I only have a Fender Fat Telecaster and a Washburn electric acoustic, a Fender Princeton Chorus and a Marshal MG15CFX, and a DigiTech RP500 effects box. Seems like a lot of us model builders like to play an instrument, too. And I don't think I will EVER have as many paint containers in my shop as you have either! ??? Joe
  3. Say, Leroy, what's hooked up to that Fender amp? Joe
  4. Very nice build and one of my favorite aircraft designs. Joe
  5. My first tractor-trailer had the International Transtar leading the way and I liked that old gal. Always made it through the rough weather and such in good form. That portable power station thought sounds like a good idea for a load on the trailer. Looking forward to seeing what you decide. Joe
  6. Some pretty neat stuff out there on the road today that's for sure. It's been awhile since I spent time in the "rolling office" so I certainly would not be up to date on what is the latest go to design. Good you are doing some research for your model. What would you anticipate being hauled on your trailer? Joe
  7. Will be watching this come together. Nice color choice. Joe
  8. Really nice ?! I sure like the black and white photos of the build. Joe
  9. Nice work! Looks like a street car we would have seen back in the days; a sleeper with attitude! ? Joe
  10. Thanks, Gary. Your idea of using air lift on the front and rear trailer axles and leaf springs on the two center axles would make sense to me, and the forward truck axle could be air lift also. The truck and trailer could then make the corner turn with minimal tire slide and axle twist. The driver would be busy, eh? Joe
  11. The black and white photo above is really neat! Nice idea. Joe
  12. It is interesting that they didn't call out using the paint on plastic. Joe
  13. Thanks, Leroy. Trouble is that I have never airbrushed anything...can't believe I admitted that! When I get my spray booth and then vent it to the outdoors I will try out the airbrush. Should be REALLY interesting to say the least. Joe
  14. Impressive project! Never saw a drop trailer with four axles like this; how many of the trailer axles are air lift? I am thinking there would be a lot of tire slide when going around a corner. Neat arrangement. Joe
  15. Thanks guys. It would be a real chore to paint the model with a small nail polish brush anyway. ???? Joe
  16. Nice dragster! ?? Always liked the Ramchargers livery. Joe
  17. Would those be enamel? Joe
  18. A winner! Looks great with the trailer, too. ? Joe
  19. Curious as to what tip size would be best for items like chassis parts, roll bars and similar 1/25 - 1/24 scale parts? Joe
  20. We could really use a good tutorial on using craft paints; there have been some real nice models shown with craft/acrylic paint. I know that I could use some helpful information. Joe
  21. Welcome to the forum, Mark! Joe
  22. Lots of fun builds to anticipate.., I would definitely like to be about 10 years younger! ???? Looking forward to seeing what will be released in the next few years. It should be an enjoyable time for model building and memories. Joe
  23. Came back to look at this model again. I can recall seeing one like this in our neighborhood when I was a young guy and always thinking that it looked like a rocket. ?? Joe
  24. Very effective details to augment the color shift paint. Nice work! ? Joe
