  1. Cool Beans! Nicely done and a great color choice. ? Joe
  2. A 1:1 done up like this model build would be a fun ride! ? Joe
  3. It is interesting to note the type of vehicle (high price point) that is being shown with the EV installation. A typical "look what I am driving and you are not driving any time soon." And so it will go.... Joe
  4. Coming along nicely! ? Joe
  5. This is just amazing to me; the insight into your modeling techniques and ideas is eye opening as to what can actually be accomplished at this scale. A wonderful build to watch come together. Joe
  6. The wheels definitely need to be cleaned up and the sink holes filled. I would remove all the chrome, fill, sand and clean the wheels and then refinish the wheels to suit the build you have in mind. Joe
  7. Extremely nice construction on this model. The details and colors really compliment the build. ?? Joe
  8. This is one of the nicest Hudson models I have seen. Unique color and very clean work. I really like this one. ? Joe
  9. Very nice and sure looks good in the color choice. ? Joe
  10. Coming along nicely...will be eye candy before long! ? Joe
  11. Wasn't sure if I really liked this model kit when it was advertised. Your model looks real nice and the polished plastic surface is a plus. Might just have to get the TD designed kit for the stash after all. ? Joe
  12. Mike, you might want to consider using cut strips of foiled packaging material like that used with Sudafed. Cut the material to the longest dimension of the buckle and then cut off the "buckles" from the strip. Cut/punch out the opening for the belt and you will be on your way. Check out my Green Hornet dragster WIP to see how I used the material for pedal covers and wire looms. I will be using your idea though to make seat belts. Joe
  13. Thinking that your daughter will like this cute little "bugger"! ??? Joe
  14. The reason for the lettering showing up on the early kits is that the kits were a "next step" marketing decision for former promo assembled model cars that dealers passed out to buyers; the business, like AMT, just packaged the unassembled plastic parts into boxes with cool looking box art, sent them off to the hobby shops and such, and we youngsters were hooked into doing the assembly work ourselves. And we "oldsters" are still "hooked"! ? Joe
  15. What an incredible build. I am amazed by this workmanship and talent. Joe
  16. Glad I found this! One of my favorite cars when it came out. My Dad came home with a new '62 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible when I was 12 years old. White with red interior and all the bling of the day. He quickly found out that the convertible didn't "work" with five children and another adult. ?? Dang...would have been a great car to drive when I got my drivers license! Joe
  17. It would be nice to have the Aurora early Indy cars again. ? Joe
  18. Nice looking model. ? Drove one of those over the road for awhile back in the days dragging a freight box ...had a Detroit with a ten speed. Not a favorite ride as I recall. ? Joe
  19. THAT is one really nice looking truck! ?? Joe
  20. Great model and lots of super nice details. ? Well done! Joe
  21. No doubt it is what it is, although with the upgrade it should be a fun build for those who can appreciate the release. Looking forward to seeing the kit on my shelf and workbench. ? Joe
  22. Nice take on this model. Used to see trucks like this out and about when I was a young'n. ? Joe
  23. Yes, yes, and...did I say YES!! ? Joe
  24. Nice model. Can recall sitting at my study desk in my room as a teen and building this kit. Thanks for the fond memories! Joe
