  1. That is cool! I have an old Monogram '31 Woody that can be restored like that design. Thanks for sharing this photo and for the idea. Joe
  2. This is an interesting discussion because I have seen a number of photos that show a "hot rod" style vehicle either without a radiator or if a radiator is there it's sans hoses. And, admitting that I know nothing about nothing, at times I wondered how did they do that and still drive the car. Joe
  3. Wow ?, must be some soft metal in those blades. Take care using those. Joe
  4. ...a light hand...that can make a real difference and it shows on your model. Joe
  5. Those are going to look cool in the shop. Joe
  6. That sure looks realistic. Nice looking work on this model. Joe
  7. Didn't realize this museum was just North of Battle Creek, MI and well within a reasonable drive from our house. There is also an Aircraft Museum near Kalamazoo and a great nature park West of Battle Creek off of I-94 to visit. Thank you for the information regarding this museum. Joe
  8. The blue convertible is certainly nice, however, your green hardtop is my favorite one of those shown. It's really nice that you can keep your mother's car in your family. Joe

  10. This is very, very, nice! Well done. ?? I like the color on this Mustang much better than the green livery on Eleanor. Super nice...and did I mention that I like it? ? Joe
  11. Came back to look at this model again. What a gorgeous and believable execution on this 250GTO. The paint looks so nice and the shine is very appealing. Can you please share with us how you got the paint to look so realistic? Joe
  12. Coming along nicely and sure has the right "look". Joe
  13. Bill, how long (?) can a drag car or hot rod engine run without circulating coolant? I have often wondered about this; as an example, the Green Hornet dragster is sans radiator and hoses. Joe
  14. Will do. The oldest body here is the one writing this...however, I can practice on it if need be. Might look a little bit funny though with tiny silver dots all over it but a man does what a man has to do. ? Joe
  15. Thank you for the additional advice. I had noticed that there was little paint on the eraser. A case of less is more. Joe
  16. That is a great idea!! I am going to try this out. ? Joe
