  1. WOW! That is so great looking, very impressive!
  2. Looks excellent! Gorgeous interior, but seat belt decals are a bit of a let down. Still a great looking hardtop!
  3. I'll sell that Merc if someone wants to build it? Probably best to contact me off the board though, I don't think selling is allowed.
  4. I built one, it's a nice kit!
  5. Thanks for the kind words Steve, I could never hope to be on your level! I don't mean that as a stupid saying, I have seen your work in Minneapolis for years, and it really is on another level!
  6. I totally agree on those slimline bumpers and making all the chrome the same! Nice work on a fantastic car! I had the pleasure of riding in one, such a sweet sound from that 250 V-12.
  7. I've never seen those but they sure are cool! 3D printers should offer them, although they'd also be easy to do in resin. I'd buy some for hot rods!
  8. I have one of his '56 Mercs, nice stuff he did! No chrome, but NOW we have Revell spray! I've always wanted to do a period custom, maybe now I should!
  9. Removing the floor of older shallow interior tub kits and using the chassis as the floor is greatly helpful. Here' the '63 Galaxie is sitting on the '60 Starliner floor.
  10. Welcome to the board!
  11. Welcome Dan, I'm in Winnipeg! This forum is great, WIP model cars, check it out!
  12. With that vintage in mind, I'd stick with 17s and rethink the exhaust. Should be fantastic!
  13. Man that will be a stunner after it's foiled! Stock wheels and tires?
  14. The 17s do look great, but the nice thing about your larger diameter ones is that the tires do have some nice sidewall, they're not the dreaded rubber bands, so for me, either works. It's a very large car so it can handle the look of 20s and 21s. I'd say it depends on how modern the other mods will be.
  15. Man that interior is fine looking! Love the seats and belts, awesome!
  16. Very cool! Why didn't Revell do it? No matter, now we can get one from you, right?
  17. Nice work on a very nice resin body! Did you get the firewall too, I did!
  18. I do love mockups, but in the case of this pickup the finished version actually is cooler!
  19. After getting all the chassis and running gear in place, it's time to set up the body:
  20. Much nicer flow to the roof and a bit more T-Bird as well. Great decision!
  21. Oh wow, that is so cool! That underside is off the chain! Love the stance, custom interior, great engine, well I love everything about it! Can't wait to see more, I just LOVE this kind of build!!
