"La Rosa" '70 Camaro with an Italian Heart
dino246gt replied to carl63_99's topic in WIP: Model Cars
I think more modern larger diameter wheels with big disc brakes and calipers will suit the Lambo theme more. If you want to keep it somewhat "vintage" Lambo looking, the old Countach or Miura wheels would look great. -
Wow, I'm loving this project! Coyote would be great! I DID put a 3D 351 Widnsor in a '64 Merc custom project though.
-
Love the green! Of course, the orange rear end will be painted??? LOL
-
Ended up looking great! I just glued both of my doors open.

Your Lambo looks fantastic!

Great colour choice! My friend painted his 1/8th with actual Lamborghini paint, yours looks right! They do have several shades of Arancio (orange)

I had one of those horrible kits, the '55 so I built it as a car from Cuba! The brothers sold the rare side trim for enough money to bondo it up and spray it blue in the back yard! They use whatever parts are available to keep it running, it's NOT numbers matching, LOL Cheers!- 117 replies

I built the roadster version when it first came out, nice kit, ONLY model I've ever build totally box stock!

Far out! Building models is a form of free expression, and that one's pretty out there! I love "out there"!

Man that's a cool build, 6 banger and all! Love all the mods and super details, excellent!

One of the best builds I've seen of that one! Looks fabulous in black, nicely done! -
I love what you're doing with this gorgeous car! "putty, sand, prime, repeat" I've found that putty, sand, prime, clearcoat, putty, sand prime, clearcoat, works to prevent the primer from eating into the putty. Have you chosen a Ferrari colour for this beauty?

I really enjoy trying to make the original pieces look better, like you're doing with that chassis.
-
I need to do this, Greg do you have any pieces of that aluminum left? I never use the 45s either.
-
I never thought that kit could look so good! Great build!

Wow, that flattie looks fantastic! You kept the crab too, cool.
