  1. Gerry Anderson was ahead of his time lol.......
  2. Awesome, these look great! I love all the Gerry Anderson series....I think Supercar and Fireball XL-5 is what got me interested in Sci-Fi when I was a kid.
  3. That looks great! That's my favorite WWII era airplane. I might try to pick up one of those. When I occasionally build aircraft, I prefer 1/72 scale, simply because I have no room to put them lol.
  4. Beautiful color. The '70 is my favorite year GTO, and you did this one good. As far as the spoiler, the one in the kit is wrong anyway, so just leave it off, it looks great without one. Question, where is the air cleaner from? I need one like that for the '72 GTO I'm working on.
  5. Very nice. Those body mods look WAY better. You should do a photo tutorial.
  6. I wouldn't exactly call it "junk", it just requires more patience than modern 'shake the box and out falls a model" kits. I recently built one (posted in "Under Glass") and listed some of the nuances that need to be addressed. If you want a '67 GTO, the MPC kit is the only game in town. If you're flexible on the year, go with the '66.
  7. Totally agree. Most of these auctions are a bunch of guys with more money than sense, trying to outbid their buddies. That's ridiculous!
  8. I don't get on here as much as I should, so I missed this before......but this is just perfectly cool! I like everything about it, you nailed the look, the stance, everything! You're forcing me to like pro street again, lol.
  9. Yes, Joseph is definitely getting caught up with everything, he will eventually get back to you. Also, for what it's worth, Speedway Decals (www.speedwaydecals.com) also has a line of tire lettering decals.
  10. I intend to be there, this has always been a great show!
  11. Wow, that's eye catching! Excellent choice for a color! Nice job!
  12. That is just totally cool, probably one of my favorites of your builds. I would've been tempted to go with a patina type paint job, but glossy and pristine looks good too! You've inspired me to get back on the one I have on hiatus.
  13. Looking good! I've always liked this kit. I've got 2 or 3 on hand. I had a plan to cut, dice, and splice 2 bodies together to make a stock body, but modeler's ADHD hasn't let me start on it yet. This kit is derived from the Matt & Debbie Hayes T-Bird (which is why the body is a little short) and on the 1:1 car they came up with a 90 degree drive for the distributor so it would clear all those blower drives and hoses.
  14. Modelhaus Tires has several different sizes of wheel backs available at reasonable prices. I ordered a bunch of each size awhile back just to have on hand.
  15. Thank you sir for pointing that out. They have been corrected. Website will show the correction within the next few days.
  16. Looks good so far. The title is what caught my attention, it says '68 GTX. Are you planning on converting this to a '68?
  17. Very creative idea for this type of car. It captures the look very well! Great job!
  18. I like everything about this one, it definitely has the correct gasser look! And yes sir, this would fit right in with the SEGA!
  19. I really like this! '70 is my favorite year GTO. Well done!
  20. About the panel lines......I do all mine using Roger Hayes' (Plowboys) method of simply scribing the existing lines deeper. Nothing else, no accent color or anything. It's easy to do and looks tons better than any other way. In most cases, adding a wash to the lines actually distracts from the appearance.
  21. Thanks a lot, y'all!!!
  22. https://public.fotki.com/SpeedwayDecals/hot-rods-street/badman-1-24-jpg.html They are printed on clear decal paper, not colored.
  23. Thank you, and yes, those negative comments were what made me decide to do this one. No, it's definitely not on par with more modern kits, but it does build up nice if you take your time. Some people should stop whining and learn to be problem solvers lol.
  24. Lol, I know, I know......but like I said, I chose not to fix that. This was somewhat aimed at the Facebookers that call it a junk kit. I wanted to try to stay as much with the kit as possible while catching the outside look of the real car. I probably should have changed out the console, but, well.......you got me lol.
