Great stuff ! I particularly like the vacuforming projects you built from scratch . I still have my dual cowl project in the hopper I just haven't figured what to do with the grille area . Not all your work is my style but it is always inspirational !
Nicely done ! It looks great and a unique subject . The only thing I don't like about it is that I won't be seeing any more updates in the WIP thread .
the current round two mpc WWII jeep has guns . so does the gangbusters series of cars . Tamiya has some 1/25th scale military figures that come with guns . hasegawa jeeps and kubelwagens have some as well . they are out there the gangbusters Lincoln probably has the most in one box
Online forums are a great boon for the hobby . Some other items that have helped a lot in no particular order , Bare metal foil , Photo Etch , Plastic friendly Lacquer based paints , Liquid glue , Dremel's stylus , alclad.
I had a very good experience with Moebius Customer service , a year or two ago . the treads in my "Chariot" melted into the pieces that were in the same bag . the damage was fixable and I just wanted to let them know but they asked for my address and sent out the parts no charge .
Not sure what kind of paint you are using but I am assuming enamel because that stuff takes a long time to dry . I use lacquer based paint it doesn't take long to dry at all .
I got the Chariot from lost in space and it did have tire burn from the tracks they replaced the parts quickly . I bought a second Chariot that did not have the same problems .
I don't think this will bring me back. I think I started losing interest when they changed it to the chase. Of course it doesn't help the Jimmie Johnson has won dang near all of them .
