I have one on the way too. I like the fact that Chris sends out updates on the status of the project and offers alternative and additional parts. I purchased an Aoshima MGB kit to base this on.

Check out "Too many Projects" on Facebook or seller modelerrob on ebay (Robert Burns). He casts various cars, including a lot of Fords, Mercurys and Lincolns from the 60s and 70s. Last batch of stuff he sold did not include a Mark III but he may have one coming up or the ability to create one from past offerings. Visited HL. Same old kits. They had the 67 Impala 4-door. I got a can of Mr. Surfacer and a couple of tools.

That's a 70 Monterey BTW. Here's a 69: Maybe 69-70 Cougar taillights, without the fins?

71 LTD taillights would be a better fit.

Problem is, is that small-displacement turbocharged engines are not particularly efficient.

Well the taillights kind of go with the front styling. Shape of the grille opening and location/size of the fog lamps resemble a 69 Camaro.

....but that Eldorado is not "fully restored".....
