    Stopped at Autobooks in Burbank today. Parked outside, a Calypso Coral 70 Shelby GT500, a gold 66 Barracuda and a Saturn Astra 2-door. Later saw a TR4 parked there. At our club meeting Thursday one of our members showed up in his chopped black 34 "Mercury" Tudor sedan. I took pictures with my phone but they don't fit here.

    I have one of the Lindberg 4-rotors in my collection somewhere. In the mid 70s GM brought out two concept cars using rotary engines in a mid-engine configuration. One of them was this car, with a 4-rotor Wankel rotary engine, the other with a 2-rotor engine. Rumor had it that the 2-rotor car was based on a Porsche 914 platform. The original AMT 74 Chevy Monza kit had a "custom" version that looked a lot like the 2-rotor car.

    Those seats would be a start. Factory seats were flatter across the back and cushion, without the side support wings.

    I think the Pantera has been reissued. When I was in the store at Burbank's House of Hobbies last Thursday they had several on the shelf. They carry a good quantity of Fujimi, Aoshima and Hasegawa kits.
