  1. Fuel pump is basically in the same location on Clevelands and Windsors. Cleveland fuel pump has a vertical bolt pattern, Windsors are horizontal.
  2. There was also an AMT Ford GT40 kit in 1/43
  3. Blumpity blump.......
  4. The Heller/Union 330P4 kit is way cool.
  5. In the Law & Order series with Vincent D'Onofrio the boss has diecasts in his office in some episodes. I think it was "Joan of Arcadia" where part of one episode was filmed at Burbank's House of Hobbies.
  6. Best Car in the World (IMO): 2007 Ford Fusion SE 4-cylinder/5-speed with Sport Appearance Package. Mine has 90,000 miles. Never a down day. No significant problems. Averages 26 MPG. Drives and handles great. It's all-day comfortable. No squeaks or rattles. It's not babied. I change the oil and filter every 5,000 miles. I get compliments on it even when it's really dirty. Best car I've ever owned.
  7. I'd fill in the stock taillight locations and fab up some kind of taillight in the recess across the back of the car. maybe plain or finned like the 62 Grand Prix.
  8. Probably because it comes from basically the same tooling.
  9. I built a Heller 917 several years ago and don't recall any major problems. It went together without any big trauma.
  10. Nice build. Personally, I would drill out the heads for spark plug wires.......
  11. My browser has a SEARCH function that I can use to find stuff like that. I can wipe my butt all by myself......
  12. "Pau" is Mr. Gasol's first name........
  13. My uncle used to have a 59 Ranchero promo on his workbench to hold straight pins for his hobby, building large-scale model airplanes. I also remember seeing soft-plastic 59 Rancheros back in the early 60's that looked pretty nice. Same company made 59 FOrd convertibles and 61 or 62 Cadillacs.
  14. I was asked to help move a couple of models to a different table at GSL last year. One car that was sitting on a base was almost dropped (not by me). The model rolled really well. We were being really careful & had to be even more vigilant after that. A couple of us almost had to clean our shorts after that. We tried to find the cars' owners first.
  15. There's also a pretty good 1/20-scale Stratos with an engine. I believe it was made by Entex. Long out of production though.
  16. Edelbrock makes a handling kit for it. Kinda pricey though. See the current issue of Hot Rod mag.
  17. Nice work on that Mark VII conversion!! Thunderbird/Cougar were on the Fox platform from 1980-88. Remember the Box Birds? Mark VII was on the Fox platform. Mark VIII was on the MN-12 platform.
  18. Anybody else think that female singer that got all the fuss from "Britain's Got Talent" looks like she could be Clarkson's sister?
  19. ...and the Pacer did not come out until the 75 model year......
  20. The color combo looks nice. This will be killer when done. Um, not to be picky, but I think you have the valve covers on upside down.......
  21. Nice build of an interesting vehicle. I have a question though: Who the heck is "Vittore" Bugatti?????
  22. Didn't you hear? The Aztecs decided that working with stone was a big hassle so they converted to paper for the 2013-up calendars........
  23. Matra 3.0 V-12..... A Honda CBX sounds pretty good too.
