  1. Best Model Car Parts casts a nice late flathead in resin. I would post the link but I am unable to paste anything in this forum.
  2. Those wide wire wheels are in the Monogram Model A Woody kit.
  3. I'd like to get one. What is the price and shipping cost?
  4. It can be built rather nicely. I have one I built back in 1975 or 76 and it still looks good. BTW the "Buck tooth" front end, and matching rear end, are quite similar to the styling of the Corvette 2-rotor concept car from 1973 or 74.
  5. Hey Joe. It was me. Here is a link to my pics from the show: http://s44.photobucket.com/user/sfhess/library/NNL%20West%202015?sort=9&page=1
  6. Cox made a slot car body of the car in the picture in afx's post #107.
  7. Original kit was an XR 7, current kit is an eliminator. I always kinda wished that they had included the twin scoops shown on the box art of the original kit in the actual kit.
  8. Up to and including the "street machine" kit the XR 7 medallions were on the roof pillars and the low-back seats were in the kit. Looks like the medallions were removed and the high-back seats (correct for Eliminators only) were included in place of the low-backs.
  9. I remember when watching "H&M" that the wheel bolt pattern of the Coyote changed from 4-lug to 5-lug from scene to scene...... Also back in the 70s-80s I worked in the building that was shown as the Coyote "factory".
  10. Sorry, Kevin. You are right. My mistake.
  11. I purchased an item (65 Buick Wildcat) from TMR on eBay recently. Delivery was prompt, quality was good and I got a nice message thanking me for my purchase. Sorry, posted in error in the fog of a bad day. Apologies to Kevin from Missing Link. You are awesome.
  12. Standard Cougars did not have the clock on the passenger side of the dash. Only XR 7s and Eliminators had the clock there.
  13. Yesterday I saw photos of an early Celica hatchback that had a Lexus 5.0 V8 installed.
  14. Parts for a dual-carb supercharger setup similar to the pictures above can be found in the AMT 63-64 Mercury kits.
  15. Some early-to-mid-90's AMT kits had scale laptops and other gear included in the package.
  16. I built one of these and a Camaro for my grandkids a couple of weeks ago. Fun for all of us. Only bad part is that it is difficult to press the wheels onto the axles to the point where they are straight and will stay on.
  17. I always wondered why they made the kit a replica of the notchback instead of the hatchback. Just weird.
  18. Still can't paste here. Crappy web package. Had to print and type it: http://s44.photobucket.com/user/sfhess/library/SFV%20NNL?sort=9&page=1
  19. I would post a link to my photos or the photos themselves, but for some reason I am unable to use the "Image" button or to paste in the link.
  20. People keep picking the test shot to death on the message boards?
  21. The main problem in using the AMT Victoria body on the Revell Deuce frame is the curvature in the bottom edge of the AMT body. A friend grafted on the bottom 1/2" or so of the Revell Tudor sedan onto the AMT Vickie body and it fit quite well.
  22. Bump.... Clayton, we didn't consider setting a cutoff time. Let's say Noon. Peoples' choice balloting.
