  1. My parts arrived Friday, May 29. Very nice quality. Now I need to dig out my Revell 69 Mach 1 kits.......
  2. According to the tracking provided, mine left St Petersburg this morning.......
  3. I've seen a couple driving around. Very cool.
  4. I checked today and the parts are "In stock". So I ordered a couple.
  5. Albert Wallace posted a link to his Fotki of pics he took at this show on the "other" board. http://wwwboard2.spotlighthobbies.com/cgi-bin/bbs62x/webbbs_config.pl?md=read;id=63724 http://public.fotki.com/AlbertWallace/model_car_contest/2015-socal-nnlchats/
  6. In case anyone wonders, the custom parts from the original-issue 63 Thunderbird fit pretty well on the new-tool 62.
  7. Here's a link to the GSL XXV Fotki page: http://public.fotki.com/Mark-Gustavson/gsl-xxv-1/ And a link to my Photobucket page: http://s44.photobucket.com/user/sfhess/library/GSL%20XXV?sort=9&page=1 More to come!!!!
  8. 312P was a 3-liter v12 that was also used in Formula 1 cars. 330P4 was 4-liter and may have external differences from the 3-liter. It would take a lot of work to install a detailed engine in the Fisher 312P kit as the casting is quite thick and there is no chassis detail to speak of. I have one of these, it's a beautiful replica of a beautiful car, but to me it's destined to be a curbside model.
  9. I dunno. The kit doesn't have the same wheels as the car in plowboy's link. Bet it doesn't have the dash/ steering wheel (thank goodness) and shifter or engine hoses as the example either.......
  10. Dismissal? Just looks to me like the posting of the pics from NNL East started up a duplication of the crapstorm of criticism that has already taken up several pages of this thread. Don't buy it, buy it and build it or buy it and fix it...... The green-and-white boxart car was built by a friend of mine. I saw it before he shipped it off to Revell. It looked good enough to me. Any station wagon kit is an exciting prospect and to have one of my favorite ones available in a kit is just plain incredible. The boxart car is also my favorite 57 Ford color combination. One of my uncles had a 57 Country Sedan in the green/white color combination.
  11. Here we go again..........
  12. Probably spinning a geared up flywheel.
  13. Click on HOME for the explanation. Even though it's a couple of days past. He has revised the return date a couple of times already.
  14. Morgan Automotive Detail (http://www.madmodeling.com/store/ccp0-prodshow/71-73-pinto-wagon.html) casts the 71-73 Pinto wagon body. I have one and it is a pretty good casting.
  15. 69-70 Mercury Cougar. Can't post the pic, doggonit!!!!!
  16. This morning I saw some sort of BMW SUV and possibly a 5-series sedan in camouflage on Angeles Forest Highway. Last week I saw an I8 on Angeles Crest......
  17. YES, because the kit front end is horrible.
  18. Now the DMolds page says he is on vacation until 4/15 (but the Mustang parts are "in stock")...........
  19. Jay Leno said it doesn't need a radio.....
  20. Just a couple of clarifications. The Crown Victoria wagon on page 72 was built by David Irwin, from Missouri. I purchased it from a vendor at Carlsbad last year and put it on the table at this show so others could appreciate the concept and craftsmanship of the car. I take no credit for the build but I am happy to have it in my Collection. And I'm pretty sure that the red 57 Bel Air on page 73 is mine, not Ron Ramsay's.

  22. I went on the DMolds web site. It says that his E-store is closed until April 5th for vacation.
  23. In this particular case the owner had it painted Ford Grabber blue during it's restoration.
