  1. Looks like the pieces in the kit that connect to the heads need to have some thickness added to create the proper look for each intake plenum.
  2. Speed City Resins: http://speedcityresin.com/PartsPageEngine.html (Scroll down a bit)
  3. LOL. FMXs are heavy but fairly bulletproof. Based on the old Cruise-o-matic. Different from a C6 in many ways.
  4. Not sure about the decals, but the original kit came with pretty much what you see here as far as wheels etc.
  5. Especially since you're standing on the curb.... (lol)
  6. Academy did a McLaren M8A or B in 1/24. Also there is a March 707 kit.
  7. His resin is very nice. I have had the opportunity to see the development of some of his masters. Michael researches everything he does thoroughly and his detail and casting work are some of the best I've seen. Michael is working on something right now that will impress a lot of builders.
  8. Gee. Thanks. I thought of a lot of ways to respond to this. But I won't.
  9. Runabout was the name given to the hatchback Pinto.
  10. No, the only thing close for those years is the AMT 65 Olds Dynamic 88. You could mate the 65 Grand Prix roof to a 65 Olds body, but then you would have to modify the grille and taillights to make a Starfire/Jetstar.
  11. I saw several of the AMT Mod Rods at my LHS yesterday.
  12. Those are from Scale Equipment Limited.
  13. I saw a newly opened kit the other night. The roof looked OK to me.
  14. There was a second issue of the annual kit in a larger box with different box art. Not sure what year it came out.
  15. I would say to use the 65-66 Galaxie kit as a donor. 64 and previous had a totally different chassis.
  16. I had a white 73 Pinto wagon with the brown interior for a while. US slot mags and fat tires. 2300CC engine from a 74. Cool little car. And it looked like the baby brother of my 72 Montego wagon, also white with brown interior.
  17. The one on the left is more like a swan. I would guess that Jo Han 30s Cadillac kits would have a "Goddess" radiator mascot.
  18. I saw the prototype as well at NNL west and at the So Cal NNL. Didn't think to take photos. It looked pretty impressive though.
  19. I heard a tale that GM tried to buy the aluminum V8 tooling from Rover in the mid-70s. Rover declined to sell the tooling but offered to sell GM complete engines. GM declined this offer as they felt Rover's price was too high. Not sure if that was 100% true, but that's what I heard.
  20. Never mind. Tried to post a pic of a 65 2+2 with a manual but was not successful.
  21. If you mean the custom version dash, there is a chrome insert that fits through the holes from behind, giving the gauges a sort of extended tubular effect. It is on the chrome tree, near the Corvette-style finned wheels.
  22. Car & Driver comparison test rated the Intrigue above the others (Camry, Accord etc) in the midsize sedan class.
