  1. Pinto grille was the same up to 75, changed in 1976. Headlights/fender caps may have changed with the bigger bumpers in 74, but probably not or very little.
  2. Probably the closest thing would be in the Revell Mustang 5.0 kit or the Thunderbird Turbo Coupe.
  3. Morgan Automotive Detail makes a 71-73 Pinto Wagon kit: http://www.madmodeling.com/store/ccp0-prodshow/71-73-pinto-wagon.html Motor City Resin Casters makes a 72 Ranchero: http://www.motorcityresincasters.com/72ranchero.htm
  4. I totally agree. I should know better than to keep looking at this thread. Makes my head hurt.
  5. The irony is that the current "Hemi" is technically not a Hemi.......
  6. I have seen eBay listings recently for 66, 67 and 68 Mustangs from MPC.
  7. Also the "Trade Show" (swap meet, whatever, where vendors can set up to sell, mfrs can display) at GSL is only for a couple of hours on Saturday morning.....
  8. From my experience manufacturers and big aftermarket companies do not venture to GSL for some reason, although John Grezcula from Round 2 was there in 2011 and 3013.
  9. Repeatedly striking a deceased equine........
  10. The company that does those wagons is Best Model Car Parts.
  11. My parts arrived Friday, May 29. Very nice quality. Now I need to dig out my Revell 69 Mach 1 kits.......
  12. According to the tracking provided, mine left St Petersburg this morning.......
  13. I've seen a couple driving around. Very cool.
  14. I checked today and the parts are "In stock". So I ordered a couple.
  15. Albert Wallace posted a link to his Fotki of pics he took at this show on the "other" board. http://wwwboard2.spotlighthobbies.com/cgi-bin/bbs62x/webbbs_config.pl?md=read;id=63724 http://public.fotki.com/AlbertWallace/model_car_contest/2015-socal-nnlchats/
  16. In case anyone wonders, the custom parts from the original-issue 63 Thunderbird fit pretty well on the new-tool 62.
  17. Here's a link to the GSL XXV Fotki page: http://public.fotki.com/Mark-Gustavson/gsl-xxv-1/ And a link to my Photobucket page: http://s44.photobucket.com/user/sfhess/library/GSL%20XXV?sort=9&page=1 More to come!!!!
  18. 312P was a 3-liter v12 that was also used in Formula 1 cars. 330P4 was 4-liter and may have external differences from the 3-liter. It would take a lot of work to install a detailed engine in the Fisher 312P kit as the casting is quite thick and there is no chassis detail to speak of. I have one of these, it's a beautiful replica of a beautiful car, but to me it's destined to be a curbside model.
  19. I dunno. The kit doesn't have the same wheels as the car in plowboy's link. Bet it doesn't have the dash/ steering wheel (thank goodness) and shifter or engine hoses as the example either.......
  20. Dismissal? Just looks to me like the posting of the pics from NNL East started up a duplication of the crapstorm of criticism that has already taken up several pages of this thread. Don't buy it, buy it and build it or buy it and fix it...... The green-and-white boxart car was built by a friend of mine. I saw it before he shipped it off to Revell. It looked good enough to me. Any station wagon kit is an exciting prospect and to have one of my favorite ones available in a kit is just plain incredible. The boxart car is also my favorite 57 Ford color combination. One of my uncles had a 57 Country Sedan in the green/white color combination.
  21. Here we go again..........
  22. Probably spinning a geared up flywheel.
  23. Click on HOME for the explanation. Even though it's a couple of days past. He has revised the return date a couple of times already.
  24. Morgan Automotive Detail (http://www.madmodeling.com/store/ccp0-prodshow/71-73-pinto-wagon.html) casts the 71-73 Pinto wagon body. I have one and it is a pretty good casting.
