There's no copyright involved so please use the plans as you will. Here's a pic of the completed version behind a '99 Silverado (took 2nd place at the last JaxCon show)
Don't know if it'll help you or another builder, but here's the plans for the car hauler I built.
You can change the dimensions, make a a single or double axle, add a tire rack, tool boxes, etc.
I use only Plast-i-coat sandable primers straight out of the rattle can and HOK pre-mixed paints through a Paasche H series single action airbrush and about 22psi.
If you're a Veteran, you can save 10% everyday at Lowe's. Just prove you're a Vet with a VA or military ID. Home Depot does 10% everyday but only for Service Connected Veterans.
Your EX-brother-in-law? You think you'll really be seeing your kits again? I don't don't build drag cars so your stash is safe from me. Me and Marcia got married in Hudson - it's just down the 2 lane (about an hour).
Bummer, Brad.
I had a big black Dodge pickup with a 360 in it. Didn't need 4 wheel drive in FLA though.
Way back I had a '64 Dodge Dart with a 225 slant 6 and the hyper pack. Cranked up the torsion bars and put some helper springs on the back to raise the whole car up. Headers came down the wheel well. No small block around could touch me. I had "Lambcharger" painted on the truck.
Maybe dad could just wound me instead.
Chicago is a bit of of my way, Lownslow. But if you ship them back to FLA, I'll gladly pick them when I go to get all the kits. If you can't, I have some friends in West Chicago and St. Charles that would probably pick them up for me.
Not a problem, Brad. Just get me the address. I might have to hook up the trailer and drag it along for all these boxes. Where will I store all my new kits? I'll find room for them.
Nice stash of kits, Don. That'll keep you busy.
Yo Dragracer - would you like me to go get those 8-9 boxes of kits you have in FLA? I wouldn't even charge you for the gas.
Rings & Things sells bead necklace ends (necklace people glue the rubber necklace material into the end) that can easily pass for rod ends for a 4 link suspension. Hobby Lobby and/or Michaels might have them but I haven't spotted them there yet.
Thanks to DanielG for the tip and a few pieces. I posted pics of my gold '40 Ford using the necklace ends.
