  1. With so many different kits out there, why would anybody want so many of the same one?
  2. Just in case you didn't see the Hobby Lobby ad, they have plastic model kits and die casts priced at 30% off May 16 - 21, 2011. There's also a 25% off coupon for any one item of regular price.
  3. Still no #158 down here. I even wore my MCM T-shirt in hopes of delivery. Maybe Monday will be the day.
  4. Try this place http://www.printmini.com/printables/pp.shtml
  5. I was going to reply that it looked pretty good, and it does. If you were able to incorporate Tony's suggestions, it would ove to excellent.
  6. That'll teach 'em, Neal. I can't wait to see that puppy in person next month.
  7. A BEAR?!?! You mean like a grizzly bear? Thanks for the info on the fan. I'll have to look closer at Grainger for that adapter. I have a bathroom exhaust fan connected now and am thinking of upgrading to either a fan like yours or a Pace unit. Decisions. Decisions. Decisions.

    New guy

Very innovative display for the Merc. The model is excellent too.
  9. Gorgeous. I like the Riv the best. Shine on.
  10. Tokyo drift - a movie? Never heard of it. I'm not sure about the engine. The old block came out of one parts bin, the heads from another, oil pan, front cover, and intake manifold from other places. The headers are solder. Actually, the block is is old, the white plastic was yellow. Doesn't matter because it's already been painted grey. My intention is to keep the engine low so I won't have to punch a hole in the hood - kind of a sleeper, you know?
  11. Thanks for the pics, Aaron. Looks like a premier unit. Do you vent to the outside? I've never seen square vent tubing or sheet metal. Will you need to fabricate a flange to take the square to round? Or is something already made?
  12. No problem here either, Eelco. I respect your opinion. I'm not sure what will be finished next - '65 Chevy pickup or the Nissan Skyline (rear wheel drive with an American V8).
  13. Sounds like it's just you & me without #158, Lee. But, not to worry - it's almost Friday night so it's the pool, pizza, popcorn, and WWE Smackdown. Oh yeah!!!
  14. You guys sure know how to make a person feel bad - still no #158 here. In the morning I'm going to wear my MCM T-shirt. Maybe that will spur delivery.
  15. Aaron - does the square part of that blower mount to the back of the spray booth? How do you attach a 4" vent hose to it?
  16. Oh man. I forgot all about the smoke painting. It looks excellent on your Ford, Lyle. There used to be bicycles with the gooseneck smoke paint from the factory - maybe Raliegh?
  17. Oh yes. Glad you're back Rommel and continuing this build. I asked about in your Chevelle post.
  18. A very pretty engine, Rommel and I hope it runs as good as it looks. Are those carburators on top or some kind of fuel injection? You ever going to finish that truck? I think the last I saw was the working lights.
  19. Lookin' real nice and shiny, Marc. Can't wait to see more.
  20. Page not found when I clicked there, Rob. Have you contacted Photobucket?
  21. Yeah. Let's see what you got and plese be specific about the motor.
  22. Thanks Tony and sorry Eelco. I have this thing that when there's purple, red has to be along with it.
  23. That's a real good looking ride.
  24. Thank you for the replies. Those engine pics are unreal! I printed everything posted so far in an attempt to create linkage.
  25. Thank you, Dr. Cranky. The hole in the hood needed filling. SHINE ON.
