  1. Looks pretty cool, Raul. I like how you did the interior. Who is Korben Dallas?
  2. I'm trying to figure out the fantastic interior. Looks like raised panels on the sides and seats and then flocked?

Thank you. I thought a rollbar was appropriate. Should have been in the kit but wasn't so I hit the parts stash to find something that would work. I'd like to build another but leave out the rear seat and try to make the interior look like it's aluminum.
  4. Wow - everybody with the Dodge Dart Hemi. I need to order me a couple of those kits.
  5. That's gonna be wild, Curt. Gotta keep watching your progress. My dual cowl is still in the box because I haven't the slightest idea on where to start.
  6. Nice work you're doping on the AMX, Niko. I recently built the pro-street version kit. I should have cut out the rear suspension and seats like you did. Would have made a better build.
  7. You must have used almost a whole sheet of BMF on that puppy. Looks good.
  8. Looks cool stock. What's that blue around the door?
  9. Looking very good, Raul.
  10. Were you gone? Just kidding. Welcome back.

Man. You guys are like vultures out there - just waiting. Thanks for the positive comments. I meant to say in there that I also used embossing powder for the first time. I think I like flocking better. Have a great night fellas.
  12. So use the bad English and tell them you're an albino illegal. Haven't heard anything from Lyn. I think Isent her an email a couple of months ago but didn't hear back. Maybe if it ever cools off down here she'll need help again.

    1966 Nova

Here's my newly completed Nova Pro Street model. It's finished in HOK Oriental Blue Kandy over a silver base, cleared with Plast-i-kote Super Clear and then Tamiya clear pearl TS65. Mostly box parts used but I added a rollbar, seatbelts, wiring, and exhaust system. Vietnam Vets might get a kick out of the rear license plate. I used the base for a new diorama I'm going to build. It's floor tile glued to a piece of oak.
  14. Tell the hospital that you're an illegal alien and it'll be free. Plus they'll probably sign you up for more benefits citizens aren't able to get. Maybe telling them you support Obama would help - or not.
  15. Hiya Steve. Welcome to the forum. How did you ever manage to get a '57 Chevy over there? Romell built his 1/25 Chevelle and is doing the 1:1. I think there's other members who are doing the 1:1 - 1/25 thing too.
  16. Amazing build, John, but then all the stuff you post amazes me. Fantastic! Can you tell me what you used for the air filter screen and where you got it?
  17. Forget my exciting news. Chicago Airbrush sent me the brushable casting kit instead of the pourable kit. UPS will pick up the wrong stuff tomorrow and Chicago Airbrush is sending out the right kit.
  18. UPS just dropped off the Smooth-On Mold & Casting Starter kit.
  19. Reminds me of a good friend who went to te local Harley-Davidson dealer to buy a new bike. He looked and sat and looked more. He finally found one that he really liked and worked a deal. Then he said he's going to think about it. Couple of days later, with his mind made up, went back to the dealer. Bike was already sold. You snooze - you lose!
  20. Supposed to shoot at 5psi.
  21. Go back and get it for me. I'll send the money and postage to you.
  22. Love that bubble top.
  23. Looking good. How about more pics?
  24. I'm happier than a pig in stuff if even one person makes a positive comment on one of my builds. Two or more positive comments and I'm in heaven.
