  1. The pics have to be hosted somewhere else (Photobucket, Fotki, etc). Each pic has a code or address where the individual .jpg file is stored. Locate that (again, from Photobucket, Fotki, etc), copy it, then click on the little blue/white square up top here (two to the right from the smiley). Paste in the code/address for the image, and there's your pic. The forum displays it from that other location. If it gets moved or deleted from that other location, the forum can't pull it up, and the pic will disappear here. Hope this helps Now back to your regularly scheduled Surfers thread...
  2. http://s810.photobucket.com/albums/zz26/hoosierfarmboy/80%20Mustang%20Cobra/ Hope you don't mind me posting a better link for you. Looks good so far. That's not a very accurate or very good kit, but it looks like you've done some good work on it so far. I like the body and interior colors.
  3. My drill bits have never needed any more than that to clean them, and that's how I do it too.
  4. Is it 2 door or 4 door? I tried that with your '72 Blazer with no luck... I do have a dismantled built-up RMX '59 Chevy that might work under that '60 Chevy body. I know that's not a good trade for a resin body, but it could be a start...
  5. I shot Tamiya pearl white over their gray primer, and got a silvery white color. Not bad, just not what I was expecting...
  6. Sweet! Not what I was expecting by the title. I like it a lot. What chassis did you use?
  7. OOH I'm interested in the '65 Biscayne!
  8. I like the red/black color scheme. Very nice!
  9. Well i was going to, but I think I'll wait until the superchargers are available too...
  10. Drew, Take smaller photos (find the setting on your cam to go from "Fine" or "Superfine" to a smaller resolution), or upload your photos to a photobucket or similar account, and use the IMG tag (two icons over from the smiley, looks kinda like a Polaroid or postage stamp) and paste the code (address) for the image so that it displays in the post here. I'd love to see what you've got to offer.
  11. Can't wait to see it, Bradley. I have an older red issue and the new silver 'easy builder' issue. I haven't built either, but it looks like a nice kit. I plan on putting a V8 in one and doing it as a stereotypical local drag car, and doing the other stock-ish...
  12. That wood bed looks great! I like it all... ..except the wheels... ..and the exhaust stacks Overall, great looking build.
  13. Exactly what he said, except I don't use labels, I use blue tape and a Sharpie...
  14. That looks like a 1/87 Monogram Exacts. I used to have a handfull of those, and I think I had the same GTO. The only one I still have is a 63 Corvette.
  15. Micro Machines made some of these back in the day. As if the Micro Machines themselves weren't small enough, they made some that had even smaller Micro Machines inside them. The little orange car is a Shelby Cobra. Mopar, I think the Gen Lee you have is a 1/144 Racing Champions. I think I have one of those sealed around here somewhere.
  16. Heck, I haven't even seen one yet... Your build looks good. Love the color. I'm going to have to get one of these.
  17. That's cool, very clean and classy looking. Let's see the billet grille! I think I wanna cut one of these up and try to make it a 2-door...
  18. Glad they'll be helpful. I think those came from the Early Cobra website- I don't remember the address (earlycobra.com?) but it's been down for several months, and I think there are intentions to get it back up or move it, but I don't know when or if that's going to happen for sure. www.foureyedpride.com is a good source of photos and information too. I don't have any chassis/floorpan pics, but I know on my 1991 Mustang, the center is still bare primer, and there's overspray part-way in from the edges, but I don't remember exactly how far. The K-member is body color, front A-arms are black, rear end is black, and the driveshaft is steel (surface rust on mine), although an aluminum driveshaft is a common upgrade. The rear control arms are also black. Also, check out our somewhat-stagnant FoxBody community build: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=30265&view=findpost&p=297309&hl=fox+build+community&fromsearch=1 Looking forward to seeing your progress with this one.
  19. Collected these along the way...
  20. Fantastic! That thing is gorgeous... Excellent work.
  21. I'm liking this one. Will be keeping an eye on it... I'd like to build something similar.
  22. VERY nice. Love the color. Hope to see it in person some day.
