  1. Now, put it in the driveway, stand back, and get off a bunch of different angle shots, then Harry could use it for Real Or Model!!! Great work as always John. Keep on building and inspiring us my friend.
  2. When I first looked at the underneath, I was thinking, nah, that don't look right. But after looking more closely at the primered picture, you know, what, it does work. The only thing I would have tried would have been to put the transfer case right up next to the back of the VW auto trans, and then a double driveshaft to the front, with a carrier bearing housing. That's just my two cents, hope I don't insult you or make say all those nasty things about me everyone else says..... I like the idea, and it looks great so far.
  3. Thanks, Tim! I hope that flyer gets a lot of new people interested in Model Cars!!!
  4. Support ticket was sent. Thanks guys
  5. Thanks for letting me know. Best this is any forum behind the scenes issue, send me an email, gregg@modelcarsmag.com I do get them where ever I am at, most of the times of course, laying flat on my back, but I do get them. I can forward them to Dave or someone else to look at if I can't fix it. THe Chat room may be an error with Invision, I'll send a ticket today I think I have a 50 user one, which is the higher version.
  6. Okay, I put another test up. It's the black Modelhaus '49 Merc. No, you don't get it, it's just a test. Someone please buy it now I think it will then go to the PayPal. The test is to see if your shipping address gets inserted into the PayPal invoice. This is the big mod that I was trying to get done. So you could ship the model straight from PayPal, and not having to enter it all in manually through Post Office site, or other. Make sense? Hopefully this will work. man, my brain hurts.....
  7. Vince, I'm hurt, you don't love me like you said you did, so many years ago..... :-) Vince, I don't understand this quote: I love not having a digital version that I can access via the web, What do you think of the Flip Book one I made? I'm still working on the iPad/mobile versions. Hopefully soon. If we switch to different layout programs, that will help in the converting to digital. That's another story.
  8. What is your preference for reading the digital versions. Do you want to just download the PDF, or have it like the one I do now, the "Flip Book" style? I tried ZINIO, but they don't look at me yet (They will, everyone will soon!!!!,... oops, sorry Harry....) Thoughts, opinions, suggestions...
  9. NO. The purple one will be available only from Auto World. The Metallic Red one is the "lottery" one, one in every case. The Purple is the Special One you can buy. I'll check with them and see when it will be listed and available.
  10. A big mahalo goes out to out to Ted, for this; brand new copy of windows 7 home premium 64 bit hasnt been installed on any machine. Case closed, this was fun!!!
  11. Thanks, Craig. Do you know if WIndows 7 can be upgraded from your version/copy? I have seen the Upgrade disc here for about $80 on sale, and that:s better than the $210 they want.
  12. Who's being dishonest? I did not ask for a copy, I asked for an original disc, one that someone did not use. I have had many myself over the years, and have given them away. I did not ask for anyone to violate any laws, none whatsoever. I asked if someone had a Windows 7 disc they did not need, which I could have. Where did you see that I was asking for someone to do something illegal? Because I asked for something without paying for it? That's stealing? I think you have a problem with me, and will use any chance you can to cause me trouble. Yes, making a copy of a disc, and distributing is illegal That is not what I was asking for. I was asking for a Windows 7 disc that was never used. GET IT???? I'm sorry if you "assumed" something that was not was said. My god
  13. Chris, thanks for the support. One thing I'm going to get out to all the hobby shops is a request that we increase your copies you receive up until you are returning at the most three copies average per issue. That way, it's a win-win situation: customers will be able to get their copies of the magazine, you don't lose sales, and of course, more customers will come into the store. I plan on sending this letter and/or email out in a very short while. I'm also working on getting the digital sample copy updated. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/156.html
  14. Okay, there's a glitch still here. I'm going to put it back on maintenance after Brandon collects his penny. It doesn't return me to the auction site.
  15. nope. nada. zip. nein. eia. neut. Still no response from Pace either.
  16. I thought I posted the pics when I got it a while ago. My copy was fine. Give a shout to Revell and see what they say. I know they have a parts replacement option on their site, but this is a defect.
  17. I need a full system WIndows 7 disc(s) for the MCM Server. I need it to install on the Mac, so I can run some of the server softwares and PC software that's needed for the sites Also so I can check the functioning of the sites on a PC. I have an upgrade disc, for Windows 7, but that doesn't work. Has to be the full Windows 7 version, either 32 or 64 bit. Can't pay much, maybe couple years sub of mag, t-shirt, and a big kiss?
  18. See if the invoice system works now not for a million, see if can do for dollar
  19. eModelCars seems to be working now. Anyone want to do a test auction? Thanks.
  20. Okay, I reset everything, let give this a try. Brian, can you list something for a dollar?
  21. The "Official" word:" Well, basically this is what would have happened: the factory produced all the white, metallic red and metallic purple shots during the same production run. They'd run the white ones, clean out the press, run the red ones, clean out the press and then run the purple ones. Then, all the trees that need chroming would get gathered together and sent off to the chroming vendor - so the white, purple and red trees were all sent together and all chromed at the same time. When those chromed trees returned to the factory for pack out, the factory didn't concern themselves with the plastic color under the chroming. ***********
  22. Harry, go to your room...
  23. I'll check, but I think my best bet for photos will be Ed Kemper, the attorney that runs the SCCA here. I don't know if he would have any, but he may know of someone. This has got me thinking back big time...
  24. I'll check the site, it's hosted by Golden Bell Press, not me. I know they said that the host was having problems. As for the price difference, that's all the "fault" of the post office. Their rates for periodicals across the border is outrageous, and the fact that it takes three weeks to get that two hours over!!! I hear you on that. That's why I have been quietly asking for the opinions about digital versions for those across the borders. Still working on that.
