You are welcome (yes, I am bowing....)

There is also a cardboard display base/stand. The base is kind of rolled half way in the box, which will let it lie flat without a crease in it. I folded it here in this pic, so that I could take a better picture of it. If not, it would just have rolled up on itself. Take care when putting the base together. It's best to use a ruler and make sure all the folds are straight and true. For those who build paper models, maybe you can share some tips and tricks with us?

Here's the pics: Notice the MCM flyer that's in the box! A big mahalo goes out to John G over at Round2/AMT for his help in getting this kit on the shelves again.

Jim, I like that quote, I'm glad I thought of it!!!! Wish I kept my Oval Window, wish I had kept all of them. Every single year from '55-'72 (6 or so '67s alone). Six Vans, two Squares, one type 3 Ghia, and a half dozen or so Rabbits, and the worse one to let go, a '59 Ghia.

Derrick, that it is a good description of the leg. My right leg is numb, has been for the better part of 20 years. Mark Jones and Jairus will tell you stories about me pulling out all the hairs on my leg, without feeling a thing, and then trying to show them that it doesn't hurt :-) I usually got whacked on the head for that.... The left leg is like that cuff, with a 20lb weight on it, plus the numbness, fire, and oh yeah, the falling down when your body realizes that heh, stupid, your leg ain't following you where you want to go!!!! The worst though is not knowing when you are going to be able to move again. Sometimes I can get so medicated, I forget that heh, stupid, you can't be doing that, and then, yups, you guessed it, the body realizes that heh, stupid, it's gonna hurt, BIG TIME!!! And then you're down for two days... I am ready to just give in, and let them cut again, going through the front. But, we'll see. I don't want to give up that free parking though.... okay, I pau....

Thanks, Lee. I went through another round of "glow-in-the-dark" specials last week, MRI's with contrast, few more x-rays, and more trial meds, but nothing as of yet. It's getting worse, to the point where walking is more than 10 minutes puts me down for the rest of the day. They haven't ruled out the sixth surgery, where they would more likely than not go through the front to fuse the front of the spine, and then go up and down one level with more cages. So as of right now, no news, just more tests, more meds, and a major loss of memory. I even got denied long-term care life insurance because of all this. But, at least I get free parking!!!!!!

Jim, did you get the Pace booth because of the review in MCM? -
Any feedback on this paint booth
Gregg replied to RTK434's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I have the Model Expo one, and I love the quietness of it. I use this one on the model desk in the office, venting it nowhere (naughty boy). I have the Pace one, I love it, wish I could get the bigger one. I have my old favorite from 2000 or so, friend used to make these, Spray Vent. That's my favorite, but the motor went out. I have a new motor for it, shaded pole, but have to get a better one, better mount. I don't know about that Model Expo one and their warning for flammables, I think they are just covering themselves. If you get two of them, mount them side-by-side, and you got a great system, or, spend the money on the basic Pace one. There are other ones I will be reviewing soon. I did a YouTube review that you can see at YouTube.com/modelcarsmag -
Which sub forum should this go into?
Gregg replied to Terry Sumner's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
It's up to you, I think if it's geared to drag racing, then of course put it in the Drag class. If it's a standard build, then probably best to put in the general WIP section. -
Nice work, Felix I like the backdrop

Search problems...
Gregg replied to SuperStockAndy's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I think the problem is that you can't do a three letter word search. I tried your "GMC" search, nada Then, I did "GMC Truck", and wow!!!!! So, that's probably the issue, it don't like just small one word searches. I'll try to incorporate Henry's Google Search string in a help topic. I had the Google search box before, but then they changed their policies, and now want $400 a year for that feature, the buggers!!!!! It works great with the free Google search, just have to tie in that Google search from Henry. Almost all searches have to have more than one word in the string, if not, the results would be of no use. I know it seems simple enough, but you have to realize that there are reasons why things are done like this, and you have to adapt to it, it's not hard to do, just add another word to your search. -
I think they are on the way to the stores. They usually ship me mine when they are sending out to shops Gabe, I'm going to sic Danno on you for that one. Danno, book 'em!!!

DO NOT HEAT OR BAKE A RESIN BODY!!! Here in Hawai'i it is almost always hot, and just having the bodies outside for an hour will cause them to warp beyond belief. I lost a new day cab truck resin body this way, it was in the sun to dry for 20 minutes, and it warped beyond repair. I agree, I would contact the maker and see what they say.

best type of resin & rtv rubber
Gregg replied to Sixx's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
For the Silicone, I have been using Alumilite's Quick Set. It sets up in four-six hours. I love it!!!!! I have only used the Alumilite resin, A&B's, now using only the white resin. Used to use the tan color one before. The Resin Corner has the first series of the in-depth resin casting articles/how-to's in it. Once the issue has been out for a short while, I will post the articles and how-to's online. Thanks to Art Anderson for all his help in teaching me about resin casting. The gang at Alumilite has been great also. Always available to answer my endless phone calls and annoying emails.
