  1. Well done! MAJOR improvement on the body dimensions. Great engine, as always.
  2. Bada**!! I'm a fan of your build style.
  3. Very nice! You do great work.
  4. Beautiful work! Very nice truck. You can be proud of this, for sure.
  5. Put the windows in a sealed container with some super glue? I know it happens by accident, maybe you can make it work in your favor!
  6. Or an extended cab?
  7. So kool! Very nice work.
  8. Built curbside from the Round2 Fred Lorenzen re-issue, this old kit went together very well except for having to resize the windows to get the interior to fit up inside, and a lack of positive mounting points for front and rear bumpers. I used all of the optional grand national pieces in the kit except the taillight covers - I made my own using stock bezels and sheet styrene. Paint is Tamiya Clear Red over Tamiya Gold. Plastic Performance Parts wheels and tires. Ace Decals. (Decals don't match side to side as I wanted both versions of Panch's sponsors that season.) More build pics in the "1965 Galaxie" album in the link in my signature.
  9. Gerry, will you post more pictures if others promise to not draw lines over them and plot points to incongruent 1:1 pics? Please?
  10. I think it is. The kit number on the flyer is POL935/12
  11. Stunning build! As always, your builds + photography = feast for the eyes.
  12. I'm in for a '72 Blazer and '32 Vicky. Hopefully the latter has the vintage bobbed rear fenders option. Thanks for the photos, Gerry! Can you get some close-ups of each Moebius build today?
  13. I haven't done it myself, but have read of others tinting windows by dipping them in a mixture of Future & Tamiya Smoke, then hanging them vertically and gently touching the bottom-most corner onto a paper towel.
  14. Maisto did a bunch of diecast Harley Davidsons of various vintages in 1/24 about ten years ago.
  15. Nice photo review! I never even knew this kit existed (or the manufacturer, for that matter!)
  16. YESSSS! Can't wait to see what news comes out of iHobby.
  17. KOOL! Love the paint booth progression shots. Thanks for sharing them.
  18. Or try this - First, color the window frame with a silver Sharpie. Then cut a rectangle of BMF, big enough to span the entire vent window frame and burnish down with a cotton swab and toothpick. Now, with your brand-new Xacto #11 blade, cut around the frame. Another thing I've found is that I don't pay attention to the paint quality on the vent window frame (don't sand and polish it like the rest of the car), so make sure there are no boogers or texture in your paint on the frame. If so, remove them and hide with the Sharpie.
  19. BIG improvement on your grille. Nice job.
  20. One MILLION dollars!
  21. Well, see, that's it. We "one percenters" here can lament a curve here or a trim piece there til the cows come home. Nothing's going to change if the masses are buying these up in bulk. It would appear that accuracy is no longer a requirement to succeed in the model car business.
  22. I'm wrapping up my #21 Wood Brothers build of this kit and, after trimming both front and rear windows so that they juuuust fill the openings, the fit of this vintage kit is unbelievable. I am amazed. It's almost like a modern Japanese kit when fitting body, interior bucket & chassis together. A great, fun, old kit for sure.
  23. The Jeep's risking a ticket to make a statement. I love it! LOL
  24. I'm looking forward to the Q1 announcements! Right around Toledo NNL time, no?
