  1. Good to see the Pro Street T-bird, hopefully molded in white this time! I was gonna grab an original to use under a Pro Street Moebius F100, now I can get a new one. Any thoughts on how Revell kept the S&H Torino under wraps, yet its release date is only two months after the '67 Camaro - which had a test shot on display at NNL East back in April? Thanks to Brett & Jim for the lists!
  2. Plastic Performance Products = beautiful stuff. Gorgeously molded wheels and tires. Intricate detail. For dirt tires, you can get square tread or angle cut, and I believe McCrearys, Hoosiers, Good Years and American Racer markings. Buy early, buy often!
  3. Well done! Beautiful truck. Makes me want to do a Ford version...
  4. Great trades with tubbs & s10chevypu. Thanks guys!
  5. Moebius, Please fix the door frame/roof pillar issue. Matt
  6. Well, I'm now on the fence about my purchase plan, based on this photo comparison.
  7. Are the driver's-side pipes bent more aggressively to get around the steering box?
  8. Oh man, that is nice! Those MPC Chargers look so good. Is that the out-of-box stance?
  9. For cleaning brushes, warm water works great. For washes, Tamiya makes a great acrylic thinner. I'd recommend that.
  10. Maybe brush Tamiya acrylic clear with a drop of flat white on there?
  11. Looks great, Brett! I'm happy to hear about the nice price too.
  12. I saw Bob's '15 Mustang at NNL East and was very impressed. A great looking model car and the reason I'll be picking up the new Revell Snap kit soon. As to the magazine thing, I can see both sides of it. OP wasn't meant to ding MCM, but common courtesy going forward would be to avoid promoting the competition on here.
  13. Slick! Great profile on that mockup.
  14. Oh, I'm sure it was the basis and yes, I've seen the HRM kit contents. Being that the roadsters were 427s too, the HRM kit is the way to go for anyone wanting an accurate Grand Sport Roadster.
  15. Can I use an Accurate Miniatures/Revell Grand Sport to make a roadster version? Aside from cutting off the roof and fabricating a rear deck, is there an easy kit or parts source for the rollbar fairing? What about cutting down the removed roof section to fab the rollbar fairing? Thanks. (I know there's an HRM resin transkit, but I don't want to spend the $$ on that.)
  16. '57 - '67 Corvettes pretty much drop right onto the Miss Deal wheelbase, IIRC.
  17. Make them just like the 1:1 guys did back when - cut up a '36 Ford spare tire carrier. Depending on the look you're going for, you can get 2-3 cycles out of one spare carrier. For backs, you can just bob the kit pieces until they look right. HTH.
  18. RMoM resin is the best around. They don't have a website, but you can call Norm and he will get back to you - (410) 768-3648 You can ask him to mail you a catalog. Hot Curl does come with a surfboard (and Hot Spot, his dog) and is part # F-7. Cost is $10.95
  19. He was vending at NNL East back in April. Had a small table, selling off some vintage kits, just like other years. Sorry, I can't help with the e-mail though.
  20. Neat woody wagon, Scott! If you want one, Replicas & Miniatures of MD does a resin repop of the Hot Curl figure.
  21. Thanks! Normal handling required to assemble the parts isn't a problem. It's not as fragile as Alclad.
  22. Spray it on bare plastic and buff it with an old t-shirt. No need to seal it, just be careful handling the painted parts. I love the stuff! Check my Fotki - I used some to do the "metal" floor in my '41 Willys gasser.
  23. Classic cool! Well done.
