  1. I don't often build Light Commercial, and my tire stash is all rod & custom stuff. I would like to use the Revell Wranglers from the Silverado on my '74 F100 Camper Special build. I'm looking for approximately 8" wide (deep), 6-lug Ford steel wheels that would fit. Does anyone know of any? Thanks in advance.
  2. If the quote attibuted to Ed Sexton is genuine, it seems to have a very short tone and lacks any real information, IMHO. I don't like it.
  3. I've got my eye on a web retailer in the US that has all its current Meng merchandise marked at 66% MSRP...
  4. Very nice! I like everything about it. One of the best Mustangs I've ever seen in 1/24-1/25.
  5. Outstanding build! You captured the look perfectly. Very nice.
  6. I saw one locally yesterday in the Grabber Orange. I'm thinking Tamiya Camel Yellow.
  7. If you're not looking to make a specific plate, Google "License Plate Collector." These guys often post images of their plate collections online - nice hi-res images. Resize in MS Word, print on photo paper and, wah-lah!
  8. I used some Pactra Polycarbonate spray on my '57 Chezoom build. I applied it over DupliColor automotive primer and it did come out with a matte-to-flat sheen. I liked it, so I didn't clearcoat it.
  9. Looks good! Your first photo with the body-color second wash looks best. Remember, on a 1/25 scale model, a panel line viewed from one foot should look like a 1:1 panel line viewed from 25 feet. Your first image illustrates that perfectly, for me at least. Well done.
  10. LOVE the GMC! Where did you source those great looking tires?
  11. Cool! I still like Pro Street. A circa-1989 Fairgrounds crusier.
  12. Same here, John! I made it until last week. Take Cold-Eeze zinc lozenges in the first 48 hours. I did and it only lasted a week with no major symptoms. Recommended!
  13. Agreed. Got my 49" Irok tires & Ford lifted 4x4 suspension this week and the parts are nice! As I understand it, Ben pours the parts as they are ordered, so a little patience pays off with nice resin to work with. Recommended!
  14. Absolutely! I think those would sell great, and Bandit Resins has a history of providing pickup parts. E-mail Kenny @ Bandit, I did!
  15. I found the grille via search, like you said. But the web page is dated 2007/2008. Hopefully Kenny repops it with the AMT re-release!
  16. Cooool! (My build will look more like your last photo.)
  17. Sounds good to me! I just checked Bandit Resins website and didn't see the grille you mentioned. ???
  18. In millimeters (aka scale inches). Thanks!
  19. Beautiful build! Great call on the wheels & slicks.
  20. It's just a shelf, basically. Tell him you're not sure if it will even work, since you'll be storing Tamiya paints in it.
