  1. Thanks Tim & Tom!!
  2. Yes, please. Especially the new engine parts. I would like to see those. Thanks.
  3. There it is! I always thought the Mk II would make a great custom. Very well done, sir!
  4. I meant the expectation that they announce their kits like they have for 20+ years. Sorry, should have been clearer there. Others have said it better than I.
  5. niteowl said it well - Managing expectations. Brand Management.
  6. If Revell is so active on FB, why not do phased announcements of upcoming releases? If there's a licensing holdup on one item, they could still tell about other automotive releases. Maybe two a week or something? Just an idea.
  7. First it was iHobby/NNL weekend. Then it was 10/15. I'm getting tired of this. Somebody knows the date when the Automotive releases can be revealed. When is it?!
  8. Outstanding work! Beautiful build.
  9. KingSix - great guy to deal with! Thanks Dan!
  10. Replicas & Miniatures of MD does the PE wire wheels with resin tires. RM-59A, B and C have 19",18" and 16" tires, respectively. They are billed as 1/24-1/25.
  11. Wow, is that mean looking! Looks great.
  12. If you're not opposed to a diecast-bodied kit, pick up a Revell 1/25 American Grafitti pre-painted "Falfa's" 150 post sedan. It's ready to go racing with a hood scoop, radiused/lipped rear wheel arches and a front splash pan. You will need to remove the bumper mounting boss, but a hacksaw will take care of that in no time.

    Triumph TR2

Nice! Great build of a good-looking automobile.
  14. Based on this photo, none of them will work for you with the body painted already. Norm's is designed to fit the Revell roadster, but you need to shave that windshield "rubber" strip off the cowl and possibly fill the post indents.
  15. He also posts on another board I visit and it looks like he hasn't posted there either, since 8/29. I hope he's OK. He's a stand-up guy with trading & sales.
  16. IIRC, that build was inspired by some Keith Weesner artwork. It's not easy to get 1:1 (or 1:25!) cars to look like Weesner's stuff either. Great looking ride.
  17. Sounds great. Thanks!
  18. Me too! That is nice looking. Could be built in 1/25 too - a '69 GT500, sectioned '69 Charger grille, some putty...
  19. Very cool! I should try this. It could possibly get me building stuff again. Nice work JB.
  20. What do you know about the kustom parts included in the Olds, Brett?
  21. Neat job so far! In a sea of 1/24 Ferraris & "kit cars" your build will stand alone as truly unique. (And I learned a lot from your write-up too!) Keep up the good work.
  22. Want to know before I get there with a coupon burning a hole in my pocket.
  23. Mine neither. Those became just "County Sheriff" in production.
  24. Looking goooood! I like the proportions with the chop and short doors.
