  1. Matt, Great photos! Exactly the subjects I would have taken. There's so many great ideas with 32's, especially the white body, Tangelo frame/wheels project.
  2. Great pics... Thanks!
  3. Nice job, Lots of Bad Attitude in that!
  4. Very nicely done! The decals fit perfectly. Steel is an interesting choice for the interior, but it works well.
  5. I've seen this one posted several times lately and gotta say... Right On! Its got such old skool attitude! The nose, the wheels and tires, the simple flames... everything works so well on this!
  6. Hey Shannon, Good to see you on the board! Nice truck, looks like its seen a few miles!
  7. She's a beauty... But where's the white walls? Very nice build, period perfect!
  8. Same here... Even what I call box stock had to have a wheel swap! I've been pondering box stock and the only model I can think of that might end up BS is a Revell 1/16 T/F... no parts to swap... no mods to a purpose built car... Bet I can still find a way! Its a sickness... Revel in it! 8)
  9. Great pics of a very well done model! I'm very impressed with both...
  10. Thats even sweeter than the last lowrider of yours I commented on!
  11. Thats "La Bomba, Baby!" Very cool graphics, They're hand painted, aren't they?
  12. Hopefully, you took my comments as constructive... As I read my post this morning it doesn't sound that way to me! Keep building it the way you see fit, you only need to satisfy yourself with the finished project! Wild customs are very much the product of your own imagination!
  13. Thats some pretty wild work! Parts I really like... others... well... But the first rule of custom is to do it your way. Regardless, It will be an eye catching custom when you're done. 8)
  14. At the risk of being another funsucker, I have to agree with Bob. I use the same method, only with a couple strips of blue tape. Wrap one around the nozzle, overlapping the straw, the other around the straw, overlapping the first pc of tape. Sharp Objects... presurized cans... Hmmmm  Reminds me of the time a friend was showing us how he heats cans... in a pot of boiling water on the stove! :?
  15. Hey Randy, Don't see you around here very much! Always nice to see what your active imagination has come up with. Nice work on this conversion!
  16. Oh Man... Thats funny! After all these years, you'd think you'd know better! Don't feel too bad, though... I'm sure there's more stories like this that never get told...
  17. Thanks, that explains my other question, also... How'd you get the outline? Very nice technique, makes for a beautiful flame job.
  18. Spent my money, took my car, started telling her friends she wants to be a star. Lyrics from Black Dog, Led Zeppelin, Untitled album, 1971. (But I just noticed on TV that Cadillac isn't using Zep songs for the CTS ads :? ) Here's my 2 week build (unprecedented for me! ) of the "Uptown" Caddy STS-V, which is also my first completion of '07. Just a simple box stock except for wheels and tires, which are some obscure chinese manufacturer. Paint is Tamiya Black mettalic over flat black, same on the wheel spokes but not cleared. Marker lights are BMF with Clear orange and red acrylic. Custom license plate... Here's the car with all the bling turned on... Not even space for an overnight bag... I went G.I. Joe on the interior... NATO Black leather and Jet Exhaust trim... Not much to say about the 3 pc engine compartment... Enjoy... Comments always welcome!
  19. Nice projects! I don't know if I've ever seen a Long John built... you may be breaking new ground! Funny how the concept wheels look better on the classic Camaro than they do on the new one!
  20. Thats nice!
  21. Wow, Nice work! You really like those new Mopars, don't you? Welcome to the forum, I'm sure you'll enjoy the time spent here. Nice flame work... I especially like the "inside out" leading edge, where the lick is actually body color. I'm wondering, though, why you remove and replace your flame mask between colors? Seems like it would be hard to align the next mask...
  22. I've been wondering where you dissappeared to? Nice build, NASCAR with Bling! Wouldn't a chrome body be a huge disadvantage to the competition?
  23. Came out very nice! These "Uptown" kits are well engineered and pretty fun to build, but I agree that the Lambo doors need to go away.
  24. Nice looking Turbine... and you say thats not your usual level of detail! I'd be very happy with that result! Bad resin can be your worst nightmare... The Dodge in my signature avatar was the Modelhaus casting, after I fought the brand X casting thru 90% of the build, then threw in the towel! :?
