  1. I can't wait to see what Clearly Scale does for the Hellcat. The other products look top notch.
  2. Looks like a labor of love to me. Great job!!!
  3. That is a sweet build!
  4. Mike and I are not in an argument over this one. The car in the photo is a 2016 Challenger SRT392. In another post, I stated that I wished that Revell would do a kit of the Hellcat. Seeing the SRT392, as well as the 392 Plus Scatpack Shaker. I got my info from the Dodge website, using the vehicle configurator. Any of these will do. Even the forthcoming 2018 Demon. I just would like a full detail kit with the body and interior updates from the previous factory refresh. Mike's build will be whatever he chooses it to be, and it will be brilliantly executed. I only brought up Sam's SRT, as I love the car, and that is how I am going to do my build.
  5. Looks like a Hellcat to me. That is a center opening scoop on the Challenger.
  6. Great minds do think alike. The difference is that you get things done. I am having modelers block at the moment.
  7. Dang Mike! What are you doing to me? I just picked up one of those last Saturday ay our club meeting. I plan to do mine in Black, like the NCIS-LA car that L.L. Cool-J's character drives. I think he's driving a Hellcat now. I have not seen the show this season. I love those Challengers.
  8. You re very welcome. I'm sure that we can work a little something something out!!!!
  9. That's a nice one!
  10. Pretty!!!!!!
  11. Looks good to me!!!
  12. You are a man after my heart with those!!!!
  13. If it were me, I would keep the '72 MPC body intact, and install the guts from the much better detailed AMT '71 Charger. I buy those kits every chance I get, as I have used them for several projects. I did a '73 Road Runner doing this, and I was very happy with the result.
  14. The AMT '62 Thunderbird Sports Roadster has a set of Kelsey Hayes wire wheels that you need. The kit only has 4 though.
  15. That is so nice! I really like that you corrected the roofline on that one.I have a '65 Craftsman that I may open up to do it as a SS with a 327/365. I have an idea of where I will go on this one.
  16. Nice projects Richard! I got one that will get you going. Several years ago, I came across an original built up '63 Roadster that was unpainted, but had the custom geegaws glued to it, and a busted windshield frame. I did an admirable job cleaning it up, and I am still working on it. I have decided to make a '64 out of it, as I have some wheelcovers, a hood, and a Hardtop for it. I love those mid '60's Corvettes, having quite a few AMT, MPC, and Revell kits, and car parts to do several.
  17. That looks pretty good to me. In my opinion, your build is welcome here. You're doing a lot of re-engineering and correcting of a mediocre scale model, and I tip my cap to you!!!!
  18. Good news!!! Last night I found the '64 Lincoln interior tub I bought several years ago. I tried to strip the Testors' copper paint off of it several years ago with limited success. Last night I manually scraped the leftover mess off of the seats with pretty good success, so now I can put some primer on it, and lay some paint and flocking on the interior. It took about 4 hours to do so, but I was able to save the detail. Now I have to make a final decision on the color combination.
  19. I have always liked Dodge Chargers. I have an unbuilt '73, and I just acquired a builder '74 "Super Charger", as well as a '72 where someone had installed the '71 underhood area from the latest tool . I am on the hunt for the latest '71 Charger kits, as I have several projects that I can use its guts on. The '72 is going to be built as a Rallye, as is the '74 too. I have a set of Charger Rallye decals for it, as well as the proper Rallye Wheels for it.
  20. Looks good so far. I may have to check out the Clearly Scale Flat Hood and the later Front End with the Composite Headlamps. I already have the Model Car Garage PE Set for it, and I intend to get a set of Fireball Radial T/As. The first one I am going to do is going to be the '83 Hurst Olds.
  21. Sweeeeeetttt!!!
  22. My money for items that you make and sell will only go to you. I saw the carbs on Ebay, and I can honestly say that they were BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH! They were not as crisp as your product, and looked to me as if they were copies. He will not get ANY of my money!
  23. Very nice work. Between your build and Bob Downie's work, I do not regret that I bought this kit.
  24. Very nice hauls on both the Coronet R/T and the GTX.
