If I were in the market in the one-to-one world for that type of car, I would probably choose a Challenger over a Camaro, even though I am a Chevy guy. The Challenger is a much more comfortable car to drive to me, and it still looks good after all these years. Now can we get a kit of the Hellcat, or the upcoming Demon? Full detail kit???? Revell? Round2? Mobieus? P.S. How about a Full detailed Mustang while you're at it.

The second round does look better. Great job!!!!

BMW 635 csi Jagermeister-update 3/22 decals and window trim

That is some beautiful work. -
I received my Motolow Chrome pens today. I got the 1 and 2 mm pens. I am quite happy with the purchase. I did some touch up on an old bumper, and the chrome from the pen is better than the kit chrome. I may have to get a 4 mm pen. I ordered them form Amazon on Jan 7, and they came in today from England.

I love it !!!! Several years ago, I started on one of the Revell Skyiners, getting the body put together where it looks pretty good. I really hate the way that Revell handled how the trunk hinged, so I am going to make up my own hinges. My kit is moulded in a color that is close to Geranium, which by the way, looks great on your build, but not as good in styrene. I plan to paint mine Black, with a red, white and Black interior. Also, I have gotten my hands on an original 'AMT '59 Ford Galaxie Hardtop, which I am going to convert it into a 4 Door Hardtop, like my Uncle had when I was a kid. His car was also Black, with a red, white and Black interior. My uncle is going to get that one.He does not know it yet.

I have over 1000, so I am good for a couple of lifetimes. I also have plenty of paint and supplies, so as long as they do not deteriorate, I am good. I can always buy glue and putty, but if Bare Metal foil went out of business, I would have to change my building style, or build imported and late model cars with no chrome trim.

Your Rarest Built Kit.

I have a pair of '61 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special Sedans. I restored both of them to the point that the are ready for paint. One of them is going to be Black, to be a book end to my '61 Lincoln Continental Sedan. -

Very nice work!!! -
I have one of those to rebuild. I have not ,made up my mind on where to go with this one, but yours looks pretty good. I took one of the AMT '72's and shortened the fleetside bed to make a 6 1/2 foot bed truck. I have to repaint it, as the Testors' white enamel I used at the time did not go on as smooth on the center as it did on the roof.

Very nice execution.

New Project for 2017!! 1957 Fairlane 500 Sunliner

Speaking of '57 Rancheros... I did this one from the Revell '57 Ford Custom Sedan. And yes those Kelsey Hayes wires will look great on your build, in my humble opinion. It's strange, but I have yet to build a '57 Ford straight from the box in a replica stock fashion.I still have several of the AMT, Revell, and a couple of resin kits of the '57 to do one day. One of these days, I am going to whip this one out to do a build. It's going to be like this one... but not as crusty. -
1963 Pontiac Bonneville Hard Top. Update, 3/25
Ron Hamilton replied to StevenGuthmiller's topic in WIP: Model Cars
One of my cousins had a '63 Bonneville 2 door hardtop, that was Cordovan Maroon, with a Black vinyl roof and Black leather interior. I always thought that was a striking car, and I plan to do my AMT '63 Pontiac Bonneville Hardtop in that color combination, complete with the vinyl roof. I hope my Model Car World Cordovan Maroon paint has not dried up by the time I get around to the build. Several years ago, I used to see the locally shown classic cars in my area. One car that stood out to me was a 1063 Chevy Impala SS 2 Door hardtop. It was a Metallic aqua, with a White vinyl roof, and an Aqua Interior. The vinyl roof was unique in that it was grained similar to a convertible top, instead of the tuxedo grain, which was on my Dad's '65 Olds. I am not sure if it was a factory roof, but it did look good, and the owner of the car displayed a copy of the window sticker. Back in the day, most of the cars I saw with vinyl roofs were either Black, or Beige. A white roof would have been rare, as it would have been a bear to keep clean. I can attest to that, as my Dad had white vinyl roofs on his '68 Olds 98, '71 Lincoln Continental, and his '71 and '72 Lincoln Marks. He was a clean fanatic, and he taught me how to properly clean a vinyl roof when I took over the job of detailing his cars. Judging from your past efforts Steve, no matter what color you paint the build in, it is going to look great. -
Fantastic!!!!!!

A light metallic Turquoise with a white vinyl roof would look fantastic on that car, especially with the white interior trimmed in a medium turquoise. -

Moebius '65 Mercury Comet Cyclone news
Ron Hamilton replied to Dave Metzner's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I agree. I wish that the Model Manufacturers would use the company's logos again. The Cragar S/S logo would look very good on the wheel That is a nice wheel casting, that I will use on another build.. -

Isn't that a sharp Red one with the Black Vinyl Roof and Interior Ed? I have the actual brochure that I bought to do an AMT '65 Mercury Park Lane I have in my collection. I plan to whack off the roof, and make a convertible out of it. It started out as a beat up promo, so I am not hurting a valuable, un-built, annual kit. By the way, I have one of those too, which will end up as a Triple Black Park Lane Hardtop with a vinyl roof. I grew up around '60's Mercurys, as a matter of fact, I took my driver's test in a 1966 Mercury hardtop, 44 years ago. -
