  1. Very Nice!!!
  2. I really like that one, but the hanging glass is a distraction.Easy fix though. I may do my next '66 coupe in that color. In my stash, I have one that I am going to re-build. It's a little "doggy" right now, in that it needs a lot of work, but after looking at yours, I feel good about the project.
  3. Very nice concept and execution.
  4. That one is a beaut!!!!!
  5. About 20 years ago, I was challenged by a good friend of mine to do a custom. My car of choice was a 49 Merc. I even went as far as to chop the top, using Joe Ballion's method, which is similar to the approach that Tim Boutte employed on his Beautiful '49 mentioned earlier in the thread. If I can find the car, I will dust it off, and post some pics.
  6. Wow!!! You are knocking them out of the park!!!!
  7. I like what you are doing here. I would like to pull off a '71 Satellite Sedan myself, as an "Adam-12" car.
  8. I like both of those, especially the Red one.
  9. I used the kit GT grille on my '66. One of the projects I plan to finish this year is my '67 GT Fastback, either in Acapulco Blue, or Red. and I may use this derelict to do the '64 1/2 Hardtop like my friend's sister's car. I have so many projects to finish, and I get new inspirations every day for a project.
  10. I like that one. I have been working on a Grand Sport, which seems like forever. I painted it Nassau Blue, but for some odd reason I cannot get the hood to match the body, so I have to strip it and start painting again next spring. I believe that the primer color is the problem, so I am going to change my primer. Most of the rest is done. I hope that mine comes out half as good as yours.
  11. I like that! I just picked up one of those kits today, to use some of the "gasser" parts on a sedan, along with a Resin button & tuft interior from Replicas and Miniatures CO. of MD. I have to raid the parts box for some pieces, including a FE or SOHC Ford engine and a HD Automatic Transmission. I am thinking Black of Dark Green. I cannot wait to see that one finished!
  12. Thank you. One of my college friends had a Caspian Blue '65 Convertible, which I may do a build of at a later date. When I was building the convertible, I was going to do a red one, but I built a Monogram Convertible in red, so I went with Blue with the Blue/White Pony Interior. I like the first generation Mustangs very much. When I was a kid, my best friend's sister got a Black '64 1/2 coupe on the weekend of the introduction in April 1964. I remember the car, and I plan to do a model of it, which I have started, and now is lost somewhere in my basement. I have several versions of the original AMT '64 1/2 through '66 Mustangs, including an unbuilt original '64 1/2 Mustang Coupe/Convertible kit, and '65 and '66 Fastbacks to restore like what you are doing.
  13. I'm partial to Blue Myself. I'll be watching this one.
  14. I like this one so far. When I built mine, it did not have a front suspension setup in it, so I fitted the suspension setup from a Revell '72 Olds Cutlass. I have an unbuilt one in my collection, where I am going to mate it with a fleetside bed from the '84 GMC, and install a 6-cylinder in it, like a friend of mine had. I liked the way that truck drove.
  15. I love it!!!!!
  16. I just picked up one of those today, as I do not have a model of a Jeep in my collection. I drove by the local Jeep dealership to get some ideas on color combinations and set-up. It is not a replica stock kit, but I have seen a couple built-up, and they look pretty good. It will fit in with the Broncos and Blazers in my collection.
  17. That one looks so good!!!
  18. Very Nice!!!
  19. Nice work!!!
  20. Of course I would love to see your work George.
  21. Nice model. I would like to get my hands on one of those. I have a Modelhaus resin '68 coupe that I am going to do as a '68 GT Hardtop.
  22. Looks good to me!
  23. I can't wait !!!
