  1. Has any company released kits for the 2010 Revell Mustang to bring it up to 2013-2014 specs? Taillamps, 5.0 or GT badges, etc? Or is Revell going to jump the current kit up to current specs?
  2. Ohhh, a Lusso. Or a reissued 275GTB? Excuse me, I might need a little "alone" time. Since we're dreaming how about a modern mold 260/289 Cobra with FIA optional parts?
  3. That is a correct set up for the 1963 Nassau Speed Weeks races. I just got another kit like yours off of Ebay for $8 but no decals and no PE. VRM has decals for it though. Here's some photos and a lot of other cool shots. [media=]http://www.flickr.com/photos/thehenryford/sets/72157628634708063/ Its in the Flikr Dave Friedman collection. Look under 1963 http://www.flickr.co...57628488413505/
  4. I only hope they change their practices regarding their quarter panel sheets. I wanted to do a particular race car and the sheets they offered had all the markings I needed BUT I would have had to buy 4 sheets (at a cost of over $30-$40 now) to get the logos for 1 car. And then have a bunch of stuff I didn't want left over. Too much. Focus on one car or condense into 2 sheets with other useful markings.
  5. 2001 Petit Lemans ("United we stand", NYPD, FDNY, stars and stripes) and 2003 50th Anniversary (with burgundy accents) please, please. Nonetheless, the 2003 Compuware Lemans markings will be most welcome.
  6. Mark of MS said on his front page that he has a few that he just received. Its gone now. Email to check stock. http://www.mshobbies.com/servlet/Categories?category=PLASTIC+CAR+KITS
  7. What's the story with the Heinz 57 Stars and Bars Corvette in Chris B's photo album? Is that a Revell Greenwood Corvette with another decal option?
  8. You and I know that but the Shelby Factory tour in Las Vegas says it was just a problem of not being able to get consistent supply of engines! I'm sure all the PO'd customers would have accepted that explanation. Nice tour if you want to buy a bunch of over-priced t-shirts and look at a few OK cars. The "factory tour" can be summed up with "Stand here and don't touch anything. No photos either." I'm very much looking forward to the new kit. Maybe an up to date FIA version or even a street Cobra would also be very nice.
  9. I had wanted to get a body for the '69 Mercury Cyclone II and they came out with a transkit w/decals etc. I missed out on an Ebay auction and found that there was a website. When I attempt to get there now neither IE nor Firefox will let me get through. I was using this url: http://www.timemachineresin.bravehost.com/ Are they out of business?
  10. Still around http://www.hwjapan.com/sh/FUJ11112.aspx
  11. That's a pretty nice machine. Too bad about it being a Chevy and all.
  12. Has anyone dealt with this company before? http://www.toy-in.com/ There are some items that a somewhat lower cost than other places but I'm hesitant in sending my CC info across the waters. Alternatively, are there any overseas shops that I should have no hesitation in ordering from?
  13. Would somebody, SOMEBODY(!) convince Revell to release their slotcars in 1/25 or 1/24. Even if it was just a body kit. Every one that they have issued (i.e. Greenwood Wide Body Corvette, T-70, etc) are all subjects I would buy multiples of. And let me add to the chorus of more modern cars. CTS-V, BMW M Versions, AMG Mercedes-maybe a co-production agreement with Revell DE. I sure can spend their money for them.
  14. On the Ferrari California vein-I talked with Steve DeVaux of VRM decals at the NLL West last year. He was of the opinion that the classic Italeri Ferrari kits (275GTB, California, etc) were going to be re-released. Has ANYONE heard the same thing? I'd love a kit of the classic kits but not at Ebay prices.
  15. So...maybe shave it down 1/16th and shim it back 1/16th at the bottom?
  16. I've a question that I've never seen addressed. Is it just me or is the front end/grill of this kit a bit too tall/blunt/forward? That's the way it appears. How has anyone else addressed this? Maybe its just me
  17. Re: the first photo (Revell). Were the cars at the bottom of the poster (looks like Lola T-70's and a Fairlane) slot car releases and 1/32nd? (probably )
  18. RnD Unique used to offer a T-70 3B (coupe) kit in their Mini Exotics line but don't right now. Anyway, they did have that scheme as an option. Maybe they have one in the back of a forgotten drawer. Can't hurt to ask. http://www.rndunique.com/rnd_products.cfm?pi=2
  19. Dale King is a retired illustrator for Disney and likes to make BIG models. He has participated in Tamiyacon and has won it in the past. He has posted a website with some of his work. It is real iffy on opening through Firefox (sometimes yes, mostly no) but no problems via Internet Explorer. Check it out http://web.mac.com/dwking2/Site/My_Albums/My_Albums.html
