  1. That model is still one of my favorites, I have the issue it came out in and have always wanted to build a similar car. Great looking car Tim.
  2. Here ya go Harry, Roush Stage 2
  3. Cool looking T, speed bumps should be avoided at all costs!
  4. Nice! It all fits together well.
  5. You keep whackin' on that thing and the engine isn't going to fit!
  6. AC Moore accepts 50% off coupons from Michaels.
  7. Yep, got one of those yesterday, deleted, since I don't use toll roads.
  8. Felt the first pangs of kidney stone movement on my left side this morning , hopefully this will be over tomorrow .
  9. Highs in the mid 80s, low humidity, yep, it's fall.
  10. Mine had been painted red with a white top, but was stripped, that's the just color left on the body.
  11. I picked up the same car at the flea market a couple of weeks ago. no plans yet, waiting to pick up the pieces from Modelhaus.
  12. Nice, Jim
  13. I've seen this item in person, it's a very nice. Don brought one of the first pieces to our club meeting, the parts are thin, very well detailed and the best you could start with for a conversion. Sure beats hours and hours of scratch building.
  14. After 40 years there is no stress, only anticipation.
  15. You're right Harry, some intelligent people do, but most of the ones I've had dealings with don't and aren't aware that there's a difference.
  16. I've noticed most "intelligent" people have no common sense and don't interact well with people. They can be a whiz at their specialty and dumb as a stump in everything else.
  17. Looks like the easiest way to identify the engine (from the pics shown) is the head bolts at the center exhaust port. The Caddy has a bolt on each side of the port, while the Olds has a bolt in the center.
  18. Clear finger nail polish.
  19. I probably have a dozen builds in different stages, build until you hit a snag, then either work thru or move to another until you work out what you need to do to the first. The adult ADD problem is probably common to all of us at some time or another.
  20. I was requesting replacement parts for 4 kits so I'm fine with sending proof I bought 4.
  21. Revell got back to me last night, really fast response, I have to send in the UPC codes from the boxes, but that's no big. I bought 4 kits for our club build, there's always more that 1 variation I want to try. Three had issues with the chrome and one was missing the tires. Pleased so far with their customer service.
  22. Here I am as usual late to the party. I opened up a couple of the slingsters for our club build and found the chrome has a lot of flash and looks like sand under it, the valve covers for the small block has little specks in the fins, the hemi valve covers aren't completely chromed and the tires and canopy are missing from the second kit. Guess I'll be contacting Revell for some replacement parts. Did anyone else have a problem with bad chrome? Robert
  23. That's cool, used to a boat running around town mounted on a three wheel chassis, had the exhausts running out the back of the boat in the normal location and a full top, yellow and white, the guy always had his Captain's hat on.
