  1. My wife, crazy, , the rest of the time, 94 2500 Suburban, 04 Crown Vic LX Sport, 70 Manx buggy, Schwinn bicycle.
  2. Never seen a T on 32 rails, an A on top of 32 rails but not a T, don't think the two are compatible without major surgery.
  3. Just got off the phone with the Popular Hot Rodding subscription dept. and found out they are combining Rod & Custom with Street Rodder (just added the extra on to that subscription). Popular Hot Rodding is just going away, they wanted to add that subscription to my Hot Rod, but it's already paid up to 2020 so they're sending me a refund.
  4. Beautiful job, is this a Revell or Monogram kit?
  5. I've used clear finger nail polish to attach clear parts for years. Easy to put on and dries quickly and completely clear.
  6. Crunchy! I like mine with salsa and hot sauce!
  7. Nascar never has been "run what you brung", maybe you're thinking street drag racing? The new inspection system is just keeping up with the technology that goes into building a competitive car.
  8. Hey Jim, I bought all the buggys ( but I'll share) and they only had 1 flex set.
  9. Looks great, now how about a run down old garage or barn to put it in?
  10. I think the car was two toned, black over red, looks like a paint line at the back of the trim on the drivers side.
  11. Hobby Lobby clearance, they have these sales when they're getting ready to reset the isles. Manx $7.91 Coronet $8.84 Chevelle $8.16 69 Camaro $7.82 11 Camaro $7.48 Mustang $8.84 trees $3.95 bushes $1.29 Flex set $9.35 Touch-n-flow $6.11
  12. I was thinking of you when I wrote that . I'm going to try and be at the next meeting and we can settle up then, Thanks for holding on to them for me.
  13. Having been born here 64 years ago and spent time ( lived in) in all the states south of Virginia and east of the Mississippi, I like it here in northern Florida, mild winters, great outdoor activities year round and not too many Yankees trying to muck things up . Flattest state, just means we can see farther than most people at any given time. I'll take hurricanes over any other natural disaster, we get 2 weeks notice before anything happens. Sink holes have been happening all over the US, not just in Florida. The Palmetto bugs (cockroaches to you Yankees ) aren't any worse than anywhere else I lived, they're just active longer due to the good weather, Raid cures most problems. Jim, I've got you beat, 6'3"-240 ( wish I could divest myself of a few #s, maybe if I rode my bike more?).
  14. Yeah, the little plastic cover over the allen head adjustment screw completely had him confused. When I asked about the bike, he said he had already bought another one and he was tired of looking at it. I checked and it was a $400 Schwinn 18 speed mountain bike. I really didn't feel bad about taking it.
  15. Was in Goodwill this weekend and they had a new looking 10 speed for $13.95. It needed the chain oiled, a new comfortable seat and it would be ready to go. If you don't like changing gears, just find one speed that's comfortable and leave it there. Check out the discount stores too. I found my bike in the trash while delivering for my job, fella thru it out because he didn't know how to tighten the handlebars. I got rid of the butt cutter seat and it was ready to go.
  16. I lengthened mine 1/2" and put it under a 51 Chevy.
  17. Assuming that you're building a race car, weren't the doors on this car welded shut? Never mind I just looked at the 69 rules and the doors had to open.
  18. Tire Rack has Fuzion Grand Touring all season 225/60/15s for $59, maybe an alternative?
  19. I have a couple, I know, not technically gassers, but they have that attitude.
  20. I use clear finger nail polish, dries quick, clear and invisible.
  21. I was talking to my son-in law about the weather he was going back to, on the way to the airport, ( he works in the oil fields in North Dakota) and he was telling me in one of his conversations with an old timer up there, the man said he had seen snow in every month of the year!
  22. Why not convert the Monogram hardtop kit?
  23. Me too! Monogram already has most of the car done in their El Camino kit, a body and an interior and it's done, and how hard would it be to add a wagon?
