  1. Are you doing it as a "rod" or with stock heavy truck suspension. I have a set of molds for the Opel Blitz that I used to make wheels and tires for my 40 Ford tractor. I'll cast you a set if you need them.
  2. Great start Phil, my kind of car.
  3. The car has elements of a couple Porsche designs, 904 and 906 are similar.

The car looks good, just about my most favorite Pontiac.
  5. Absolutely gorgeous, was the panhard bar left off on purpose? I'm working on a couple now, hope mine come out half as nice.
  6. 30" x 12', and if I'm lucky I have a 12" x 18" space to work in.
  7. Looks like a 1963 or 64 Ford Galaxie bucket seat. http://www.secondchancegarage.com/public/classic-car-photogallery3/1964-ford-galaxie-500-xl-convertible/1964-ford-galaxie-500-xl-convertible-int3.jpg http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5240/5900275610_e6d4e2d86d.jpg
  8. Look at the pics of the interior, cars had full dash set up.
  9. If you really want to go big, use a set off one of the old Lincolns or Deusenbergs.
  10. I was a member for a year or so, then for some reason was banned, haven't been able to get in touch with anyone to find out why.
  11. Let's see, 93 kits for $1276, that's $13.18 each delivered. If I had the money, keep the ones I wanted and flip the rest.
  12. Yeah! Three minutes at a time!
  13. Thanks, Nick, been looking for these parts for a while.
  14. This just came. Picked it up on e-bay. Now I can build my Big Drag.
  15. Looks Great Kevin, paint and detail look wonderful. The only thing I see to change, if you feel like it, is the heater hose at the front of the intake should go to the top side of the water pump and there should be a small hose from the top of the water pump to that area of the intake.
  16. Looks Great Tulio, I love looking at models and at first glance thinking it's real.
  17. Excellent job Kevin.
  18. Good start George, but I think that's a 56.
  19. Nice build, but I gotta ask, what's the ring hanging from the back for?
  20. Welcome John, Looks like you started a little before me, the first model I remember was a 59 Plymouth, it met a violent end out in the back yard along with a bunch of plastic army men. We practiced on them with our BB guns. You'll find a fantastic wealth of knowledge in these pages, I'm continually amazed at the ingenuity, skill and imagination found here.
  21. I've been told I have too many kits, been "stashing" them for over 40 years, but I look at it as "adding inventory" and an investment that I enjoy and planned on it being my "job" when I retired, which was last December. While I haven't started selling any of the old kits yet I enjoy being able to emulate a build by others with my own version pulled from my inventory without having to troll e-bay for that certain kit needed for the build. I'm always on the lookout for interesting (to me) kits at reasonable prices, just picked up 17 more Saturday after our club meeting, but that's just me.
  22. Picked up a few kits from our Saturday club meeting in Ocala and then a few more from a closed hobby shop in Apopka.
  23. It seems like when I start on a model, I think of different variations to make so I end up with multiples of the same kit going on at the same time. I have 5 39 Chevys going right now, 3 coupes, a sedan delivery and a station wagon. When I run into a stopping point on one, I go to the next one.
  24. Thanks, Jim, I'll see you Saturday.
