  1. Thank you all for the comments. Jason S
  2. Looks great other than the GM Performance Parts decal on the bottom side. What's up with that? This is all Mopar not GM.
  3. Yes the continental kit is optional on the Revell kit. It comes with the stock straight bumper as well and the continental kit verison.
  4. Didn't get any interior shots as I was building this. Forgot to. Just a black interior with the decal upholstrey pattern that comes with the Black Widow kit. Thanks for the comments.
  5. Thanks for the comment. It is just one color on the body, you might be seeing a reflection. I forgot to upload pic of interior, now up there. Jason S
  6. Here is my take on a "Flashback" stock drag car. Model Master Laquer Tropical Torquise and Duplicolor Wimbledon White. Box stock with the exception of a rise job on the suspension. Taped the strips up on roof the color sanded prior to clear. Wheels are out of the AMT 1955 Nomad kit. Very nice kit. Chassis Engine Body Jason S
  7. Here is my Revell 1958 Impala that I just recently finished up. I stripped the chrome off the side trim and glued it in place prior to painting. The color is Tamiya Coral Blue out of a spray car with Tamiya clear. First time using Tamiya primer, paint and clear on one model. Hand painted the strips on the seats since the decals didn't look right to me. Special mix of Model Master Interior Blue and Olds Engine blue I believe to get the Turqouise color which matched the reference pics I had. Bare-metaled the trim once painted. I also had to cut the rear portion of the interior floor piece just behind the rear seat to get the chassis up in the body all the way. When I went to put it all together the chassis hung down below the body just in front of the rear wheels. Simple solution since it had a seperate trunk floor. Chassis Interior Body Jason S
  8. To my knowledge no one has ever offered a Tucker in plastic but the Modelhaus does offer a resin one. See link attached. http://modelhaus.com/index.php?c=4234&p=63578
  9. Get the latest issue of Mopar Collectors Guide. It has a write-up on the car. It has some great reference pics as well.
  10. Here are a few reference pics for you that I found for myself. Hope they help. Jason
  11. As far as the Green Camaro's go, my borther stopped and looked at one here in town but the dealer would not deal on the 2 they had and they did not want to try and order him one (with-out sun roof). So he went out of state and they told him they could not order one either but they would check other dealers to see if they could find him one. This was a PA dealer and they went to North Carolina to get him one. He loves it, gets alot of attention. I myself thin the color makes the car. He is a pic of my Challenger and his Camaro. They stop traffic when parked at his house when I visit.
  12. Here is a set of AC Delco decals on ebay right now that has the three logo decal. Not sure about size but you could scan and make bigger and print it yourself. http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-NASCAR-DECAL-RARE-97-AC-DELCO-93-OLDS-CUTLASS-/250675167187?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a5d677fd3
  13. Simply awesome. Can not wait to get my hands on a couple of these. It is about time someone does these in kit. Thanks to all that is involved
  14. Any updates? Jason
  15. ANy odds of getting any of the custom parts out of one the 72 Road Runners? I have been looking to build the Rapid Transit Car but have been unsucessful in retreiving one of these.
  16. Looks great. I seen this resin build up and ordered one for myself. I am looking at making a mod top cuda outta mine. I hope it turns out aleast half as nice as yours.
  17. If you are possibly looking for a lilac color with a possible flake to it how about Testors Model Master Eveing Orchid from there lacquer line of spary paints? Then do a silver roof. This was a factory color on 1965 Chevrolets. I sprayed my 65 Impala with it but I feel it has to much flake to it for me. Love the color though.
  18. All your hard work looks great. One thing though, Super Car Collectibles is going to be doing this car as well as soom other altred wheelbase plymouth in the very near future. See link below http://www.supercar1.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=43_45
  19. I myself vote for Blue but then again I have a B5 Blue Classic edition. Here are 2 that I built using the Revell SRT* kit. One is a replica of my B5 Blue Classic and one is a Plum Crazy Classic Edition for my girlfriend. I used the Pegasus wheels as well but used the tires from the Amt 09 Challenger to have a little more sidewall to closer match the real deal. Hope you enjoy.
  20. Just knowing that they are actually in the works as we post is enough for me right now. We we would all love to see pics but, we know what the cars look like and by the comments from Art, these will be great kits. Can't wait for them but as long as they are great kits, I can wait.
  21. I have run out of the Tamiya thinner and won't be able to get to hobby shop for a few weeks, it is about an hour drive one way. I have a small window of time to paint before the humidity returns since I do my painting outside. Has anybody been successful in using anything else to thin Tamiya paints to be able to airbrush them? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  22. For anybody that is into the Ramchargers or drag racing you need to purchase this book. It is a great read. Has some great pics as well. Here is a couple of engine shots of the car in the book. Here is another pic of the side of the car
  23. I can't wait for wither of these but more so the 300 than the Hornet. I was just wondering what the status was and look at the replies and comments that have been made. Looks like I am not the only one waiting for these. Thanks for the responses guys.
  24. Has anybody heard any more news on the release of the Hudson Hornet or Chrysler 300 that was annouced last year? Will be waiting patientily for these.
  25. Why not try the Revell '64-'65 Chevy truck chassis. That is what I was doing with a '72 I was working on. Need to get back to it though, haven't finished it yet. This would save time in trying to detail the AMT ###### chassis. It actually fit pretty good, I was surprised.
