  1. Just completed my 1957 Chrysler 300C. Painted with Scale Finishes Gauguin Red. Not perfect by any means just glad to be able to my Chrysler 300 collection.
  2. I used this one earlier this week and have gotten a response from him. Gave me a total, I sent payment and he has gotten order ready to ship already. Joseph Osborn <fireballmodelworks@gmail.com>
  3. Internet was down at work this morning so, I grabbed my primed Challenger body and my old can of Testors Go Mango Laqcuer that has been oozing amber stuff for a while. Was worried whether it would spray or not. I have heard some say these cans that have been oozing will not spray right. I wanted to try and use it before it would not spray. It has some orange peel but I can handle that with a quick polish and some clear. Overall happy with it so far. I love the old High Impact colors from 1970.
  4. Yes. See link SUPER STOCK 1960-1965 (smpdecals.com)
  5. Just seen this on Facebook. Box art has been completed by the looks of it.
  6. Can't believe it has been 4 years since I touched this. Think I might try and finish this up this time. The body has been sitting on my desk since I painted it. It was covered with dirt and dust. Washed it up and grabbed my wax and rubbed it out some. Not the best pictures had to do a mock up.
  7. Looks great. I'm currently trying to get that one painted but haven't had much time too. That and the AWB at the same time
  8. Just completed my Meobous 1965 Melrose Missile S/S. Just painted the white. The rest of the colors are all decals. Was worried about the decals but, they worked out great. Had a few touch up areas to do so, I used Tamiya Light Blue Metallic which is very close match. Once decaled, I applied 2 coats of Pledge Floor Gloss. Nit perfect but satisfied with the finished model.
  9. Mark to my knowledge, this was the last release. It is molded in green though. 1965 Ford Galaxie "Jolly Green Gasser" (3 'n 1) (1/25) (fs) (modelroundup.com)
  10. Went digging through my bottle stash and found some Testors Panther Pink and some Testors Hot Magenta. Opened them up and liked the look of the Hot Magenta. It is a lighter shade of pink. Scuffed and airbrushed the body this time. I think it looks much better this. The last picture shows the difference in the spray can Testors Panther Pink to the airbrushed Testors Hot Magenta. Both are enamels and just trying to use up some of my old stash of paints.
  11. Getting excited for the Chrysler Carlisle Nationals this coming weekend so, I thought I'd get a Mopar out to paint up. Dug out one of my 70 Charger Revell kits and started applying vinyl top trim to it. Thought I would try the old spray adhesive vinyl top tip for the roof on this one. I grabbed a can of Testors Panther Pink enamel I had here in my stash and after prepping and priming the body and shot some paint. Been a while since I used any spray enamels. Didn't turn out the way I wanted it. It had some serious orange peel and looked heavy. I thought it looked a little dark for Panther Pink.
  12. Do we know what livery yet? Either way I need to get some of these. I have a stash of decals for the Plymouth and Dodge AWB
  13. I used Tamiya White Primer
  14. White walls didn't work out well. Went to backup. Got some work done on the interior, need to do some touchup. Scuffed and airbrushed to roof to do away with brush strokes, looks much better.
  15. Airbrushed some wide whites. Hope they fit
  16. I saw them years ago up at the Chrysler Nationals at Carlisle. Don't remember what year now but they looked pretty well put together.
  17. Started prepping this one to get painted. Wanted to see what I could do with it. For nay sayers about using Tamiya PS paints on models, I found this Dark Blue Pearl and liked it. I hand painted the wood using a custom mix of a tan and then dry brushing some wood grain. Painted the panels with Testors Leather enamel (previous experience with wood panel decals are a little small for the openings they go in) and then cleared it all. I still need to apply the wood panel decals. Have one small touch up area to deal with. Bare-Metal foiled the trim. Need to work on the top a little bit, have some brush strokes in it.
  18. Was lucky enough to find one of the Revell 1957 Bel Air Convertible kits today at the GM Carlisle Nationals for $20. Had to snag it at that price. Still factory sealed! Now to see ow the continental kit fits to the AMT kit.
  19. I never heard of the Powell until seeing this thread. Then I go to the AACA Spring East Show in Gettysburg, PA and see one in person. Here's to hoping that everything gets returned to Okey.
  20. Thanks for that. I just looked for Revell 1957 Bel Air not for Revell 1957 Chevy. That's a bit much just for a kit just for a few parts for the continental kit. If that kit an up top with I might jump on it. Not a big fan of convertible kits.
  21. Great! Guess I need to try and find one. Just looked on evilbay and no such luck.
  22. Was there ever a 1957 Bel Air continental kit offered in 1/25 scale? Working on prepping an AMT 1957 Bel Air and want to try and build it stock and would love to have a continental kit for it.
  23. Love it. Looks amazing!
  24. Do I remember seeing that the Revell 2009 Challenger SRT8 will be reissued in the near future or was I just dreaming?
