  1. Maintenance is done, and the drive is replaced. Went faster than expected.
  2. Paint drama has been my Achilles heel. I'm pretty sure I need to prep a bunch of bodies, and just spend an entire weekend painting.
  3. British cars. Mostly MGs. My first car was a ‘62 MGA.
  4. Sweet! Those look like HIF 6's.
  5. Thanks, everyone. The hosting company is doing the replacement. So far, they've proven to be very capable and competent. This is why we pay them the big bucks. I will be taking the forum offline a bit early so they can start on time.
  6. We are taking the site offline to replace a hard drive on Tuesday starting at 7PM Pacific. We should be back up in a couple of hours. During this time, neither the main site or the forums will be responding.
  7. Wow. I wonder if we have an excess of left handers here? I’m also left handed despite a concerted effort by the nuns to make me right handed. I also shoot right handed, but mostly because I’m right-eyed.
  8. We’re having a different problem. There is a package of rules on the server intended to thwart people trying to hack into our server. Unfortunately, they sometimes thwart legitimate users. You get a 404 error when one of the rules thinks you’re a bad guy.
  9. That’s awesome. It’s nice to know we can do adorable when we need to.
  10. Happy Thanksgiving to all our US members, and those who celebrate the holiday elsewhere. I hope it's filled with family, friends, and good things.
  11. Maybe someone is going to remake Damnation Alley and they needed a mini-Landmaster?
  12. Bill, you sure know how to find SQL Injection rules! ? Got this problem fixed. Still working on a better solution.
  13. I’ll look at this tomorrow.
  14. Winter’s arrived with a vengeance. We’ve had 2+ inches in the last 36 hours. More is on the way. Before you start laughing, this all runs off.
  15. Arrived at my house today. I’m stoked.
  16. I thought about it. The jars themselves are very rugged, they would be falling onto a hollow core door, and the soil conditions here are such that we get mostly high frequency waves even in big quakes. A sailboat style shelf fiddle seemed like overkill. I will probably glue a 1/4-inch retainer onto the front of the shelves when I build a new shelf.
  17. I built this shelf a few years ago. I should have put in a couple of taller shelves, but it’s generally worked out well.
  18. Very nice. What’s the significance of the military ribbon in the license plate?

The San Diego Model Expo at the SD Air and Space Museum's restoration hangar will be postponed until October. More information at www.sdmodelexpo.org
  20. We have a date! The San Diego Model Expo will be May 16th 2020 at the SD Air and Space Museum's restoration hangar in El Cajon. More information at www.sdmodelexpo.org.
  21. My dad had one of those. I left it there when we sold his house. I should have brought it with me. Would have been perfect for cleaning up all the darn Lego blocks, and other toys.
  22. Was at Spirit of Speed contest yesterday, and scored some good stuff; a Pair of Cord convertible kits and a Bobby Allison Matador kit. it hasn’t gotten here yet, but I scored a Finemold Jedi Star Fighter with hyperdrive ring. That will be a fun one to build
  23. Mine's not quite that bad, but it's gotten to the point where some clean-up is in order. That's on this evening's agenda.
  24. Congratulations! She's adorable. My niece, born Dec 21st, was the best Christmas present ever.
