Side-subject to power: I'm guessing a battery-powered dio is okay? The really nice barn-scene diorama with the opening doors and the Cord was at LIARS and NNL-East, and that had a battery-operated motor, as I recall. Lighting, etc. is now a snap with LEDs. One or two 9V batteries or a couple of D-cells will do the job very nicely for the duration of the event. Charlie Larkin

For the brass, after stripping the chrome, apply white primer, followed by airbrushing Testors brass on the parts. I believe Krylon Short-Cuts also has a brass-colored paint in a spray can. To be safe, put a coat of Glosscote over it, as it's a somewhat sensitive paint color to touch. Charlie Larkin

Although I've never used Tamiya primer (I almost always use Plasti-Kote,) after wet-sanding the primer, and allowing the water to dry thoroughly, I can start painting- usually about two-three hours. I have heard similar with Tamiya primer, if they wet-sand. If not, paint usually gets applied within an hour or so, and they sand everything Charlie Larkin

You're being very polite about it. One of my friends, through the wonders of the Internet, met a girl that lives on Long Island, and where he doesn't drive, I drive him down every so often. Having been caught in that giant cluster at exactly the wrong time, "parking lot" would mean it would actually move every so often. Now that she might be moving here (fingers crossed,) I won't miss that drive. I'll gladly continue to do it for the LIARS show, and probably to go visit some stuff down there (like TR's house,) but...yeah, all set with that traffic. Charlie Larkin

I don't think that's even legal. I'd call the Comptroller of the Currency- whether it's a state or federally-chartered bank, the C.C. has say in how they handle money. And I agree with Nick- find a bank that isn't acting illegally or simply stupid. Charlie Larkin
