  1. Very nice work. I like the extra sparkle, it looks good with it. Charlie Larkin
  2. Nice job on this one. Charlie Larkin
  3. Nice job. Will you be making the next Pontiac as a resin conversion kit or letting it be used as a master? I love 1940s Pontiacs. Charlie Larkin
  4. That came out beautifully. I really like the colors and the overall execution. Charlie Larkin
  5. You have some very nice builds there. Charlie Larkin
  6. Interesting project, Brian. I'll have an eye on this. Harry- really nice to see some of your builds, and they're well-done. Does anyone know of any bikes in 1/24-25? Generally- are there any Indians out there? Charlie Larkin
  7. Another nice build, Wayne. Charlie Larkin
  8. Nice job on that. Charlie Larkin
  9. Now that's what I'm talking about! It's big, it's bold, it's beautiful! I have one I'll be building as a convertible. I found that Model Master British Racing Green Metallic is a real close match to Sherwood Green, which is what I'll do mine in with a beige interior. I want to get another one and build it as a hardtop. Charlie Larkin
  10. Very nice work. The color combination works well. Charlie Larkin
  11. Very nicely executed. That green looks really good on it, and it looks nice with the white interior. Charlie Larkin
  12. That kit has such a nice chassis. I might pick up a bunch of them for some of the other B-bodies. Charlie Larkin
  13. Nice build, Sam. Ford trucks look right in red for some reason. What is the source of the figure? Charlie Larkin
  14. That blue is so pretty. You wouldn't happen to remember what you mixed together to get it? As always, Bob, nice builds. If I had a spare couple million....yeah, one of those would definitely be on the list. Charlie Larkin
  15. Great-looking late-60s/early 70s mild custom. Well done. Charlie Larkin
  16. Very clean build. How hard would it be to make that Tempest 4 a stock engine? One of MCW's wagons is screaming to have that added to it. Charlie Larkin
  17. It's so nice to see one of these done stock for a change. Great job. Charlie Larkin
  18. Very nice execution. Will this be gracing us at Classic Plastic and/or MassCar? Charlie Larkin
  19. Nice finishing and fabrication work. Charlie Larkin
  20. I'd love to see Studebaker pickups and a Wagonaire. Someone has supposedly been working on getting a Conestoga out in resin, too? I remember seeing it mentioned at Resin Realm. Does anyone have any information on that? I'll take any Studebaker that's offered, especially in styrene simply because it fits my budget a little easier. Hey, AMT- if you've still got the tooling workups for the '50- I still have money to buy one. Charlie Larkin
  21. Who's making these conversions? I want a real one! Charlie Larkin
  22. Excellent work, Kevin. I taught for eight years and would've loved to see students with some dedication and concern for their own academic and career well-beings. Seeing what a nightmare most modern cars are, that anyone can figure out how to do something beyond changing the air filter (sometimes a major challenge in and of itself,) astounds me. As Lee pointed out, one thing to remember: although you have an earning potential of $x an hour, you may need to start a little lower to get your foot in the door. Once there, though, work hard, keep your training up and prove every day you know what you're doing and you'll make your projected potential, and possibly more. More importantly, you'll earn the respect of your employer, co-workers and customers. That which is not intrinsic- your good name, is worth more than all the money in the world. Charlie Larkin
  23. $108,804.50 as of just now according to the currency converter at 70,000 Pound Sterling. And as far as I'm concerned, a better buy than a lot of the houses in that price range around here. Stunning car. Who sells Morgans in the U.S. now? That looks like the most fun 40 miles a gallon I could have. Charlie Larkin
  24. That's the same kit, too. The Revell '63/'64 is a more modern kit with largely separate parts. I remember reading the 1963 molds got goofed up and the new chassis that was made for it wasn't too good. The '64 has a decent chassis plate and a much better engine, which, with careful painting and detailing, looks good when it's done. You MIGHT be able to put the Revell Running gear under these bodies, but I don't know. Charlie Larkin
  25. Heritage Burgundy/red trim. Whatever you choose, it'll look good done. Charlie Larkin
