Not sure what some of you guys call Drama but Blake and Adam are nothing but Drama, And made up Drama at that, but Why? they are like two high school girls. I can not watch this show because of these two. The concept of the Voice is awesome but the mute button would get a huge workout while I watched it. Just like when Simon was talking on Idol.

Eric you sure are spot on. Back in the 60's they choose to get the then current big names and sold millions of kits. They want to sell a few kits now so they are trying what worked then hoping it will work again. I would have to say the older guys that liked restored older cars did not think much of those guys in the 60's. I try with what i can to help get my nieces boys to build, I tell them it is their car , their style . I may grit my teeth but at least they will try to build something. -

Hey you guys about a community build for the talented restorers? -
Welcome aboard.

Nice work Matt. If you put one square piece with a bottom on it upright you can use it to hold a bottle with a stuck lid while you get the pliers out. I think if you get your bearing mounted halfway up it will spin easier .

Welcome back to the hobby. Miles is correct, old parts are in demand even if you can not use them you can trade them for things you need.

Yes it would for the owner of the team. They do not need to sell many tickets to turn a profit in the NFL. That just pads the pocket for the owner with ticket sales. One problem is that the owners do not pay for very much if anything that goes into the stadiums anymore. If people do not show up for the games and spend money in the area of the stadium the city that pays for the stadium does not turn a profit on their investment . Sure they get the tax dollars of what the players earn that year but the stadium cost more than that to build. One thing I do not understand about the LA thing is that all three teams ( in the running)have already been in LA at one point or another. How many strikes does a city get? I will gladly send the Lions to LA for a team that wants to win to come to Detroit. For whatever reason the fans here are still going to the games in droves. Any owner with a good team would make a killing in Detroit.

I love the clip Jesse. Great movies , this is going to be cool. Pat you could just fill the interior with pulled cotton balls and save more work.

This is cool.

Got Can't-Find-Itis?
1930fordpickup replied to Jantrix's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
My house is a mess because I do not care at the moment .It is a real struggle to find things and the moving of things to find one thing makes it worse. A guy from work had this problem with his Phone a few years ago. He found it one day in a kitchen cabinet. The next time it was in the Refrigerator, we had a good laugh over that one. We just figured it was getting up with it in your hand and setting it down to get something else with your mind was occupied. So Rob check the beer or munchie stash. -
Good point Karl.

Gas Monkey - Hot Wheels Corvette
1930fordpickup replied to afx's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I agree .This is what they should be but the producers are not car guys they are drama guys. The reason I like Leno's Garage on Youtube it is about the cars, I think that is the reason why I think he wears the same clothes every show. If Hot Wheels wanted that car and they paid for it that is what you do for the customer. -
