  1. That is looking good Jason.
  2. Google search 67 Chevelle throttle linkage you will get some good pictures. You just have to figure what the stock ones are. It seems that it is a linkage and not a cable.
  3. The melt is on its way. I hope things get better soon.
  4. I do not think there is in plastic.
  5. Mostly anything produced in the 60's and 70's are going to be just like the kit you do not like. The stuff that has more detail are very hard to put together and things do not always line up well in these early high detail kits. Not all but of them but most of them. If the question is asked you will get an answer on here, it just may take awhile.
  6. Frank if you are thinking about buying a kit you can always send me a PM and If I know about the kit I will tell you when it was produced. A small budget does make it hard to buy kits when you are not happy with what you get.
  7. Wethered is the only way these look right. They are only shiney when they first come out of the factory.
  8. Frank this is a catch 22 with the Magazines. If they tell the truth they could be cutting their own throat. If you read Hot Rod and Car Craft or any of the other car magazines they do the same thing. If you build a car with a truck load of advertised parts you have a better chance of getting published. Just remember that there are some newer kit subjects out there to build.
  9. My spreadsheet is a note book no updates for computers needed just a new pen or pencil. I just have stuff sorted by manufacture of the 1:1 for storage but the work in progress stays on the shelf in the model room. I mostly did this for trades on here and shopping at shows. Each box has a code ( F-1, BPO-1, C-1 ) with the last number changing with each box. I have the contents of each box wrote down then I know what box to look through for the kit.
  10. You are right Bill in everything you have said. Time to go through the stash of old ebay buys and make an order. I wonder if they are going to make it to the show this saturday in Sylvania ?
  11. Ok I see pictures of a real car now where are the model pictures? Man this is very nice.
  12. We all needed that today!
  13. I get what you are saying Frank. The price is steep for something not made here and that has been paid for decades ago. That being said how many times do we show the underside of our models anyway? I do not know about you but I cringe when someone wants to handle my models (not that I have many done enough for that). If you buy THE MODEL CAR DIRECTORY it will tell you when every model kit was made and released.
  14. Good to hear you are home and well.
  15. Wow this is cool.
  16. Sorry about that, I did not know Jada made plastic kits.
  17. Looks good. I like the color combo. I will say this is going to be moved to he diecast section.
  18. If they want a different age group to buy their product they need to expand into the 70's and 80's cars. I am not saying they need to spend every dollar on these kits but they need to put a few out there. The G body car in 1/25 scale is a good subject, they all shared the same frame suspension and roof I do believe. This would be a great start for several different models of these cars.
  19. Well I would like to say Congrats. Brag away you have the right.
  20. What did it start out as?
  21. And how big is the dip at 1/25th scale. Not a question just a point.
