  1. Same thing happened on another board. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz??‍♂️???‍?
  2. They’re perfect for dune buggies and small 4x4’s. Not on much else.
  3. Ask how he is too. Tough guy, kind, meticulous, deserves the best.
  4. Woot! Wolverine still at the wheel
  5. Annoying. Prob too warm before packed. None of mine back to 60’s warped. Clamps treacherous.
  6. Marui did nice 312T, McLaren 23, and Tyrell 007 in 1/24. Fernando Pinto does killer Chiti nosed Hill ‘61, and Surtees ‘64 car, others in 1/24. 312T4 too. Not idiotic prices compared to most.
  7. It’s a 570. Smallest of current lineup. P1 out of production. Much more car, partial hybrid. In 918/La Ferrari class Hard to tell but not in person. Together.
  8. Truly, Google is your friend. Use it. “Dan Gurney Lotus 29”. https://www.motorauthority.com/news/1126676_indy-museum-returning-dan-gurney-s-lotus-to-its-original-colors https://www.oldracingcars.com/lotus/29/ https://racer.com/2020/07/16/ims-museum-unveils-restored-gurney-lotus-29-1/
  9. Nice build. Grille and lights look more recessed on 1:1, how I remembered it too. Opened mine years ago, got correct hood, fiddled and back in box. Maybe cutting grille from bumper and setting back a bit would help. As it is, I’ll never finish it. Really like that year. Never got the Amt was too disappointed with the Lindberg. Prob sell mine off.
  10. Yes. Both do. Odd, one is like a promo-ish/Craftsman, other has the glass, engine, etc.
  11. I doubt cars/trucks are majority profit centers. R2 has expansive line of sci-fi and licensed kits. I’d think they pay a lot of bills for the expensive licenses and enable reworks, new kits, and repeat. The price complaints have been around for decades. Advice? Don’t buy it, somebody will. The -40% kits aren’t $40.
  12. Woody ftw, 33/34 build options on the chassis. I have 5W rod somewhere but never got by the looks. Doubt high on revamp list, dead end tool
  13. @CabDriver Just a showcar vision. The dual kit truck has promo style engine insert, no glass roof. Also does not have the pivot dampeners for chassis. The Daytona Transport kit a few years back had a TH425 behind a chrome Pontiac OHC six, which was a weird choice but useable elsewhere. The cab articulation had dampeners too, actually would operate. Roof over bed, and a clear+ plastic fairing that covered rear cab fairing also on DT kit. Neither has tailgate hinge or ramps. Cool, had both as kid, collected over years, surprised they came back.
  14. Seller prob reads these threads or knows someone that does. ??‍♂️
  15. Automodelli does pre-builts only. Bring money. But stellar.
  16. Hot girl trackside. Lol. Ubiquitous always a real life story too.
  17. Upside, no “Get off my lawn”, as it’ll be quite dead ??‍♂️??
  18. Original Aquarod van was the issue with flat roof, fixed side panels, and portholes. Doubt they’d change it as that’s in active tool bank.
  19. @tim boyd I wouldn’t complain about cloning the Rayson. Hull halves, sponsons, deck, transom, ski seats and drive cover. 2 very different kits for not huge money. Drives, prop, fins, same, maybe valve covers and heads. Could issue as stand alone kits like Hull Raiser. Hmmm.
  20. All of those are Revell. Zero R2. Sry.
  21. There is a cap on the price of the cars eligible for tax break. Only a few cars qualify, and they ended the production based part. I forget exact number, but it was msrp of 60-75k or less. Manufacturers used to be ineligible for a buyer to get tax break over a certain production #. Now all buyers get break. Not a rich people thing. IRS not after anyone with <400k yearly income.
  22. PayPal used to be 45d then not retrievable. Don’t know now. CC do chargeback. Yes we’d like our stuff, but 6wk max or communicate or refund.
  23. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mail_and_wire_fraud Tired of countless stories about many vendors for decades.
