  1. Jon....check your '66 GT350 kits to see if they have louvers in the box. I only have one '66 (the original molded-in-black GT350H) and like Tom's, it came with a pair of louvers from the stock '65 fastback kit as a bonus.
  2. I believe if you look at the promo/friction versions (same tooling) you will find pins that fit into those tabs in an attempt to minimize warpage. The '61 AMT promos/frictions (with a few exceptions) still used acetate plastic
  3. If it is, then my Buick has the wrong tub in it.
  4. 1-PMC Chev pickup promo (59-ish) 2-MPC Pinto wagon tailights 3-AMT 56 Ford 4-AMT 67(?) Corvette conv 6 and 11-Monogram '55 Chev (original) 9-AMT 65 GTO (maybe 8 too) 10-AMT 57 T-Bird (original) of-the-top-of-my-head guesses.
  5. I don't know why I was just thinking '65 and '66 ....I just looked at my Modelhaus '67 Impala....there it is
  6. Looks like an AMT '65-66 Impala chassis. Probably a copy of the promo (molded-in engine).
  7. As a former '67 notch owner I concur; the window opening and rear section of the roof and c-pillars are totally different
  8. Yes, that helps...'61 Buick it is.
  9. The upholstery pattern isn't very clear in your pic, but it looks like both parts are from an AMT '61 Buick
  10. Looks like a '58-'60 T-bird hood. If it's molded in red, I would guess it's from the Monogram "Special Interest Series" '58 from the mid-70's
  11. Sealed?? What fun is that?...rip it open, Tom!
  12. Correct. Stevens is a distributor that gets their info from Round2 just like everyone else...nothing more.
  13. Here you go. I believe the kit will be identical to the previously-released VP Challenger, including the separate vinyl-textured roof.
  14. I would NOT spend big money on that kit right now (not that anyone would spend $120.00 on one!). If that tooling still exists in half-decent condition, I'm sure we'll see it....eventually.
  15. More like this, Chuck. I think your pic is of a newer model. This one is described as a '69
  16. Pretty sure it depicts a late-60's Rupp Roadster
  17. Something I learned awhile ago, Dave....no matter what you know about what is going on behind the scenes, lots of guys "out there" know more than you.
  18. Thanks for posting the pic, Casey. It's always cool to see the box art for the first time....and that the kit is still in one piece.
  19. McCormick's stocks Alclad
  20. Nobody lied, but a whole lotta people assumed
  21. Exactly right. Round2 has assigned a different "HL"-prefix number to the upcoming release. The box art kit was built using one of the few remaining old Lindberg issues they had on hand.
  22. I'm 99.9% sure this one won't be in a "faux-66" box. As far as I know they're creating new art for this one with a turquoise built-up on the box....but that could change.
  23. I would guess the kit contents will be identical to the previous issues with a different box....I built-up on the box painted Artesian Turquoise would look nice
  24. I think the "Parts Pack" label was what killed the bikes back in '97. IIRC the engine parts packs were on the hobby shop shelves when the bikes were announced, and my LHS STILL has a few of those left.
  25. Having worked with Round2 for the last few years, I have to say you are absolutely bang-on, Tim....especially on the first point. I also agree re the guesswork and rampant speculation that results when people on message boards start trying to fill in the blanks when little tidbits of information are released. The various rumors that were generated when plans for a '71 Demon were announced are a prime example.
