  1. Thanks David. Looks like I need to make a trip to the hobby shop to check these out.
  2. Thanks Steve. It's hard to tell. Spacing looks ok but it is too thick.
  3. I need to do some roll & pleat dor panels. I need the pleats to be about .060 wide but only .020 tall. The 1/2 round .060 is .032 tall which is the right width but too tall. I need something that I can resin cast after I put it on the door panel. Thanks in adance for your help.
  4. Try 3d Scale Cars on Facebook.
  5. There is a person in the 3D Model Facebook page that is working on a full detailed version. Currently he has the body that started for slot car racing.
  6. Thanks for all of the above posts and Bill for his You Tube video. Here are some picks of my vacuum forming machine & the puck I was using for the back window. 1. Is the puck high enough off the plate? 2. Should the higher side be pointed toward or away from PETG?
  7. I am pullng the PETG over a puck that I created for the windshield & the back light. It says Petg should be vacuum formed when it hits around 280 degress. I used my IR gun to check. But the heat source is under the Petg so the gun may be reading wrong. The problem is that it didn't pull around the sides with good definition so I could cu it. I tried the sag 1st but let it get to soft and it wrinked but did comform to the puck better.
  8. Anyone of some experiance doing this. Like what temp sould you heat the PETG to etc.
  9. Thx for posting this info.

  15. My bet is we get the C8R since it races both in the US with IMSA and in Europe with the WEC. Both groups will consolidate these cars into a GT3 class in the near future so it would have a broad appeal to both markets.
  16. Me to but I m glad we got the C7R race car.
  17. Thanks for finding & posting these video's Bill.

  20. I belie the original cars were Pelham Blue a Cadillac color. At some point some of them like the #2 were painted Daytona Blue.

  22. I built the Snap & Foose above. I had custom shark decals made for the snap kit. I changed the Foose to be Blue & Silver.
