  1. Suweeet.... Ya done real good fella, real good.
  2. Looks awesome, totally awesome! Jefferson let that team have it when his car was found nearly destroyed. Probably led to a 1st round pick. Or at least a full scholarship.
  3. Beautiful build. Glad to see some trucks come out of hiding. I enjoyed building one and a couple more are planned. A unique subject.
  4. This should be one serious bird. I like where it is going and the work is excellent.
  5. Looking good. Im a sucker for red n silver.
  6. Now I have to find scale prism tape! Thanks Khils.....?
  7. Cool start. I have been loving rust more and more since I learned how. I will follow along.
  8. 10 years ya been recycling this thing? Make a new one ya slackah! Merry Christmas brother Bob..
  9. Ill go find it. A little inspiration cannot hurt.
  10. Sort of a mini WIP since I've been so stoked to build this time machine I have not really been documenting my build. Like many here I have fond memories of this kit from my youth. Revell's reissuing this was smart, and adding a beautiful decal sheet and a few options make it a no brainer. Calling this a 2 in 1 is a serious stretch, and the posts lamenting the lack of the 5 hole wheels from the red car are an interesting read if you care to look. So Ill post this when it is complete, but I was so pleased with the look I thought I would show what I had been up to. I am adding a 6-71 with sctatch built pulleys. I am using a MCG PE set for the emblems and goodies it provides. I stole the Keystones from the Landy kit and while they are 1/25 they look surprisingly good. I am raising up the rear ever so slightly with some scratchbuilt coils and shocks. The interior is getting aluminum door panels, carpeting and the PE door handles and goodies. Fireball outer door handles in Molotow. Yeah I know.. The 80's called, they want their Chevelle back.
  11. That is a beautiful build. Very nice color and very accurate.
  12. I would be proud of that build were it mine. Very nice.
  13. When all I see are letter and numbers and it is posted by Pat, I click. Killer plane Pat. What the heck was it used for?
  14. I finished it but am too lazy to break it back out and snap a pic. LOL....
  15. I have the Chevrolet Goodwrench truck kit. It is painted black and I was in the process of removing a bad decal job the previous guy did. The engine and axle are partially assembled (well), the rest is untouched. It has a new Slixx decal set to boot. The decals ara impossible to get these days. Its not a Ford though...
  16. I got my kits on eBay for 15 a piece. But that was 8 years ago or so. The Monogram NAPA truck I bought was 30.00 I think and the AMT kits are about the same. Great kits of unusual subjects and that was the appeal.
  17. The Banana Splits 6 wheeler and figures are available from Jimmy Flinstone. I have been after them for a long time and finally found Jimmy was making them in resin. However... You are going to HATE the price. Look on his site or eBay. I wanted them bad... Not THAT bad.
  18. I never thought this kit could look this good. Wow...
  19. Fantastic color combo. Could pass for 1:1 with the right background.
  20. The components themselves seem to be the same as their car counterparts. The chassis is simply made to fit the truck asthetic. IE Laughlin front steer components, engine.
  21. The guy 3 houses down has that same truck. It is always filled with odd stuff at nearly all times. Not sure what he does for a living but his truck is involved. His is a green home spray over what I think was white.
  22. I have never been a big green guy but that particular shade is a particularly good one. Very nice build with the right upgrades.
  23. What a beautiful car.. You did a fantastic job on those decals and the chassis looks outstanding. My question is... How large was that decal sheet? There must have been 2.
  24. Looks like it's ready to rumble Dave.
