  1. Looks like a nail polish color. Very nice brother
  2. Welcome to the Nitro Palace, where alcohols for drinkin, gasoline's for cleaning parts and nitro's for racing. Looking good...
  3. All of it looks great. You must have filled the braided line with something. It looks very good.
  4. So stealing this one. Thanks brother.
  5. This and the P-38 are among my favorites. Very nice build.
  6. Hmmm , I have this kit. I may have to bring it forth in the queue.
  7. Compared to one kit last month WOW I'll be getting a couple.
  8. It's a fantastic kit. It will be box stock, but with good painted details. I'm enjoying the build immensely. Thanks
  9. I am so far along with this old project I thought I would just show one shot and then show it complete when done.
  10. After all you are yours have gone through, a model is the last thing I might think of.. But then again it.might be very therapeutic. Watching
  11. I was a Monogram Zombie as a kid. Revell next, then AMT/MPC. These days it's whatever blows my skirt up.
  12. Yes, the famous bunny on a trike kit. No it's not famous, but it seemed that 4 years ago when I was looking at resin kits on eBay this always popped up. I think you can still find it now and again. I painted the rider perhaps 2 years ago and put it away since other pieces I was buying at the time started coming in and those were more exciting. The bunny and bike got separated but a few days ago as I was looking through boxes and came across both. The bike was unbuilt so that was my focus. Acrylics and chipping fluid and then some rust effects and here we are. It's adorable.
  13. Watched it last night. Geezaloo what a car. It does everything right and the styling is out of this world. Nurburg numbers under 7 mins are also nuts. For a car that can be had at a local dealer this has to be some kind of times we are living in. Despite all the other craziness.
  14. If you really want one the Monogram kit is the best. Find an original issue and you're good. For me scale is a non issue. I still don't understand the why's and wherefore's of scale preference. Except maybe in the larger scales and room to display them.
  15. The white portion of my Bud King funny car has yellowed due to using Testors clear enamel. I was advised to place it in the sun (which seems counter intuitive) but I'll be hornswoggled! It brightened up significantly. As to whether it will stay that way? Probably not. But I buffed it out and it's fairly bright now.
  16. Built in 2015 when it was reissued. I have since weathered it. But here it was the day I finished preliminary construction. I have heard the engine appears small or that the wheels are too wide. For my part it looks pretty darned cool and another great reish from the boys at R2.
  17. Sending models through the mail is.... Tricky to say the least I appreciate the consideration.
  18. Always wanted one. Yours is the one I want. I'll send my info along. Seriously nice.
  19. He is gonna be Stoked! I would for sure. Well played Sir, well played indeed.
  20. You really deserve another one and have a go again my man. I feel for ya. I painted my Bernstein dragster red. Spent an hour or so decaling it to perfection. Waited a few days. Hit it with clear and it curled, buckled and split on me. I cursed so much my wife came running into the room thinking I had hurt myself. It sits there mocking me to this day.
