Time To Pick Another Stray From The Pile

Found two more strays. We are all of us great starters. Sometimes it's the finishing. Or just pure enthusiasm as is my case. I want all of them built and on my shelf. MPC Blue Max. I had the flame decals but for the life of me I cannot locate them. I got an updated set and threw em on yesterday. A couple of little mishaps, but overall they went well. The altered Mustang was not my build. I am restoring it as is. I am pretty sure this was either a yard sale or auction. It'll come to me eventually. -
Nice trip down memory lane with these All built to a very nice standard.

What a color! Low and maybe slow. Stunning....

As unusual as a back rub from the wife. Great execution and color.

Such a solid ride. You have a real super build there. I need to pick one of these up. The prices are a bit much, but you do get a great kit from what I see. -
I had a 123 paper route back in the mid 70s. I spent my money on models and skateboards. I also paid for my own ticket to see KISS in 76. About 6 of us kids went and the Dad (Hoppy was his name) took us on his van. UPS was cash on delivery and that's how we got our boards. Val Surf in California out of the back of Skateboarder magazine was how we got our gear. We had choice stuff while most if not all kids were riding Sears or plastic GT boards from Child World. Comics were 15 cents and I bought X-Men, Spider-Man and Iron Man mostly. But if there were 25 cent Giants I would buy those. You got 3 or 4 comics for a dime more. Models were 2 bucks and up and paint was 29 cents a bottle. Great days indeed.

After a few decades collecting and buying/selling comics, I have come to one realization. If you pass on it , it will become Unicorn farts a month from now and the chance of getting another is nil. This has been my experience and I live by one simple rule. BUY it when you see it. The next chance may be never.

Cooler than the other side of the pillow. I would love to have the entire EM series on my shelf. But I also want to keep my sanity.

Love everything about this. Superb.

Love a flat box. Great colors and builds.

Really nice build. I always thought the interior pan was too shallow. Other than that it's a great kit. I did one with Go Mango and a Hemi many years ago when I first joined.

They had to have an open top because Selleck was too tall for a closed top. Plus it's Hawaii so... Great builds. I really like the van more than the car.
